The burrito and quesadilla we had was the best I’ve tasted in Lawrence!! There was a lot of meat, the meat was juicy, everything tasted fresh. Good service.

Came back to this place with my boyfriend because the food was excellent last time. This time, not the case. The food was mediocre, and we were charged $17 for cheese dip & chips, which tasted like warmed up fritos lays dip. We were charged $70 for chips & queso, tacos, and a bowl. I genuinely feel like I was scammed, and will NEVER be back.

This place is pure robbery, I was charged $70 for a bowl, tacos and chips and queso. They also add in an automatic gratuity without saying anything, So I tipped $10 and left a $5 bill in the tip jar until I asked for the receipt to see my order. When I asked for the receipt, the guy at the counter was like “I’m not taking more money from you, all the numbers are here” which I never accused him of that, he just came off very rude for no reason. If you want to spend $70 on food, this place will get you there. But I know when I’m looking to spend $70 I am going to a steak house. Wont be back.

The food was excellent! Very authentic and flavorful. Portions were generous and everything was hot in temperature. Even after driving 20 minutes home. Quesa Birria tacos we our favorite. With the consume it hit the spot! Will definitely be back.

Only ever gotten takeout but they are my go to for all things birria! The ramen is out of this world and the birria tacos and grilled cheese are both delicious. Top it off with churros and a burnt caramel sauce (burnt in a good way!) and you've got one heck of a meal.

Phenomenal food & super friendly people. This was honestly the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Best Birria tacos I have had!! The tacos were stuffed full. Wishing I could shop some home to Seattle.

Food was delicious and perfect portion size. I got the Pollo Parrilla. Wish I took pictures. The people there are incredibly nice and committed to making sure customers get a good experience. My bf and my car got towed, because we parked closer to Crown Chicken since it was packed. The guy from Taqueria Del Pueblo walked in with us to Crown Chicken, and helped us out a lot. This is a plaza with shared parking spots between the 3 stores. Crown Chicken guy is crazy, but Taqueria Del Pueblo is great food, great place, and a great time. Would highly recommend.

I stopped in for a Friday lunch recently at Taqueria Del Pueblo. I ordered a burrito bowl with steak and chicken. The place was empty and quiet. My order was up in abt 5 minutes and everthing tasted fresh and very good. A little over salted however. The meal came to over $20 which I thought was pricey. I did see from my receipt that I was over charged for the bowl for a few dollors that was listed on the menu and the added meat was also a $4 charge. I would return but will keep an eye on the prices.
