“What a great experience! Amazing food cooked with good ingredients and love, perfect margaritas and the best service by Wendy. Couldn’t compliment this place enough - every single bite was full of flavour, perfectly cooked, food arrived very fast and Wendy was very kind and friendly.“

“The food is fresh but other than the sweet crepes, the things I've ordered have all been underseasoned/bland. I wish there was more variety – even their specials seem like copycats from their regular menu. Delicious lattes though! Best lavender latte I've had and great staff :)“
“Ice cream was delicious!!!! Went three times while in Lenox….. however - instead of writing what flavors they didn’t have they should have listed the ice cream flavors they DID have on the counter!“

“Exceptional Indian Food from the Raita, thick and creamy to the Chicken Tikka Masala and Palak Paneer! The Cheese Naan was hot and delicious. Service was great also. Too bad we don't live closer we would come here all the time. This is right on a lake, with large windows. They have a Sunday Buffet too.“

“Stopped here for lunch on the way back to Amsterdam NY, from Boston. We sat at the bar as we usually do everywhere. The service was excellent, the food came out fast and it was delicious. Will go back for sure.“

“As a vegetarian I was more than impressed by the plant based options both appetizers and main. All the food had deep complex flavors which were delicious. The hummus plate and roasted parsnips appetizers were incredible. I had the lentil tofu main and really enjoyed it, full of different textures and very satisfying. It's hard to find a restraunt that truly embraces plant based while also keeping meat eaters happy. My partner had the beef tenderloin and was equally impressed. Restraunt had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It is small so if you prefer a table over the bar a reservation would be recommended. Bar service for us was a pleasant experience with very attentive service.“

“Absolutely love this roastery! Visiting Stockbridge for a few days and so glad we stumbled upon this place. Amazing tasting latte and scones. Staff is super friendly and best of all, very dog friendly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good cup of coffee and somewhere to relax with a book or some “

“What a treat! They have an incredible vegan menu and everything we got was incredible! The scratch made marinara was delicious. The grilled artichokes were perfect and the vegan tiramisu was to die for. We will definitely be back! Service was top notch and the atmosphere was great!“

“Food is good along with the choices. Unfortunately some of the staff need re training. Tonight the cashier was writing on different tickets while we were trying to order. Last time as we were standing there for almost 10 minutes while we were ignored. But when the phone rang that was picked up right away and that order was placed.“

“Stopped in after a meal at a local restaurant for a scoop. I tried the ginger ice cream and my son got the maple walnut. We both agreed that the ice cream is excellent. There was only one poor girl working the counter and line kept getting longer (too many people ordering milkshakes!). Our wait was around 8 minutes to be served so it wasn't too crazy. The ginger ice cream was truly delicious.“

“Great food and service! We arrived for $10 pizza night which was a fantastic value. The wood fired pizza was very tasty. We ordered the southwestern chicken, mushroom and the Allium. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although they had no room for us, they set up a table for us outside since it was a nice night. It was the first night they had outdoor seating of the season. It was also our son's first restaurant experience!“

“AMAZING! I love a tapas restaurant, try a bunch to share is wonderful, and good wine helps! Don't call me crazy but GET THE SWISS CHARD! The boom boom shrimp was so good! The sauce on the patatas bravas is good but spicy beware. The sirloin was cooked to perfection! The special pizza had pork, onions, pineapple I forget the cheese but this is also a MUST, I know pineapple on pizza is a NO NO but this was AMAZING! For dessert we had bread pudding and passion fruit gelato also very good! Highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Anytime we're in the area we try to stop by here and pick up a few loaves to bring home. Everything they make is fantastic. We also love the day old bread shed. Highly recommend this bakery, and it's worth taking a bit of a detour to get to.“

“I highly recommend Ben & Jerry's catering service. We booked them for a graduation party this weekend and I can honestly say it was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. I communicated with Kate, and she was incredibly accommodating, patient with all of my questions and super, super responsive. The owner manned the sundae bar and he was funny, courteous and a pleasure to interact with. If you have ever considered having Ben & Jerry's cater your event, don't hesitate! It was incredible from start to finish!“

“5 stars, you can have anything you want at ..., doesn't fit but you get it. Both breaky and burger/handhelds, bring it. Obviously issues with being able to choose, not cool, first food world problems. We started with the potato puck appetizer, good , it's fried potatoes and cheese , I mean, no brainer. A smidge pricey for the two disc, I know, but for 11$, it's not worth it ($3 each would, just saying) The main course, ah, so good, thank you staff at gb! My cheeseburger was delicious, pink, perfect. The char flavor, chef kiss! The fries, also top shelf. Totally on price. chicken and waffles, well this was my issue, this combo went so well together, I felt my burger was being overshadowed, which wouldn't have been justified. Great malt in that waffle. Crab po boy and chicken sandwich were also notable, but I didn't personally try them. I could see coming here strictly for breakfast or going half and half, being right Either way. Parking is street, good luck with that weather prevailing, but this part of main street is fun , so make a day/night/brunch/linner eats kinda of moment.“

“Need a great bagel and a cup of coffee? Look no further than bagel and brew. Not the biggest menu by any means, but they have all that you could need in a bagel shop. We got an everything bagel with the buffalo cream cheese. The buffalo cream cheese has the perfect kick to it. We also got a salt bagel with scallion cream cheese that was great! Nice, small local spot that's perfect for a delicious and quick breakfast.“

“I have been getting frozen yogurt here recently and the service and staff is always great. Today I met a manager and was treated very well. Very reasonable prices, right up the road from work for me, and it tastes great! I will be back again and again. This place is a nice addition to the BerkshiresThe manager I spoke to offered for me to put my business cards up on her wall of business cards which is not only greatly appreciated but really ties into the small-town feel of this place.I personally got the chocolate hazelnut, I believe it to be a new favor and it is definitely my favorite.“

“Really, really good restaurant. All of our dishes (the bread, two different salads, the chicken, a pasta, and two desserts) were spot on. High end without being precious or pretentious. Wine list is excellent, including some excellent wines at (relatively) reasonable prices. Service is friendly and professional and the setting is very nice. Our best meal in the area. I'm happy they could take a walk-in on a Saturday. I wouldn't bet on it if it's other than 5pm.“

“In mine sojourns to the quaint establishment known as Haven, I've had the distinct pleasure of indulging in their salmon eggs benedict and imbibing in the delectable mocha latte on each visit. Verily, the victuals and libations, focused though mine culinary exploits may be, have been nought but outstanding and truly commendable. However, it behooves me to share a morsel of discontent. Alas, the parking predicament is a veritable quagmire of inconvenience. In this diminutive hamlet, space for one's carriage is a challenge, especially when the establishment is ensconced in a tucked-away nook. The vexation is compounded by the incessant throng of patrons that perennially graces the establishment. 'Tis a bustling hive of activity, a circumstance that, despite the cafe's undeniable charm, tends to impede upon one's leisurely repast.Yet, despite these minor vexations, one mustn't let the chafing of such trifles overshadow the excellence Haven proffers. The culinary escapades, featuring the salmon eggs Benedict and the mocha latte, remain steadfastly exceptional. The allure of Haven's offerings, while occasionally tested by logistical tribulations, remains undiminished in the grand tapestry of this quaint town's epicurean landscape.“

“A nice spot to grab a quick bite to eat. Limited seating but large tables and neat nooks. Loved that it was dog friendly inside. The dill oil on the potato leek soup was heavenly but the Brie and fig jam baguette was only OK. Our coffee and dirty chai were tasty.“

“I've been meaning to try Bizalion's for a while. I read an article about the business the evening prior to going that told the story of how a couple wanted to start a small, French-inspired business dedicated to quality, which only increased my sense of anticipation. There is a sense in this place, as in a few other Berkshires establishments, that only the absolute "best of the best" is to be found inside. This is what makes a place deserving of five stars. Understated, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and highly curated food selection. I got the smoked salmon baguette sandwich, which would have been plenty for two people to have as a sort of breakfast sandwich. At 16ish after tip, it was on the pricier size, but again would make a great breakfast/snack for two with lattes on the side. Bizalion's is one of the places that makes the Berkshires the food emporium that it is.“

“Just went yesterday after several years. The best got better. The soup was always soul restoring - no surprise - white bean, kale and tomato - but all their soups are spectacular. The nachos were the best I've ever had and wholesome and nutritious, which is very important to me. Pizza all wonderful - something for every taste. Three people ordered three different salads - portions too generous to finish - take them home! They'll last a day! It's the subtlety of flavor - the nuances - the little surprises, that set this place above. A real master chef at the helm here. Don't miss this when you go to the Berkshires.“

“We’ve been regular customers for a long time. Food is good but not great but given we’re in GB it as good as it gets. I wish their chicken supply was better quality. Other than that it’s owned and run by a really nice family and it feels like they care about making customers happy.“

“What a magical breakfast my husband and I had! We arrived and were the only ones there. A gentleman asked us to wait a minute to check if they were serving and luckily they were. We were seated at a bright and sunny window table, decorated with fresh flowers and old books. Very hygge! I had a very cute macchiato and the open faced croissant sandwich with Gruyère and local eggs. It came with fried potatoes and a fresh green salad. Delicious and enough for me to take a to-go box for later. My husband had the French toast with berries and a shot glass of maple syrup. He ate every bite and we were then told that 2nd helpings are free! How sweet. My hubby was full but I’ve never heard that offer before at any other restaurant I’ve been to.A group of people from a visual merchandising class came through and the staff were very accommodating to move things around that were hard to see for them. In an amazing surprise one of the gentlemen from the class asked if he could try the baby grand piano. I thought he’d play around a little but we were treated to a true musician! We got breakfast, with a show for free. They also have a lovely side garden that is very eclectic. I can’t wait to return.(Wouldn’t recommend to bring young kids. There’s lots of breakables as it doubles as an antique store and it’s a quiet and calm ambiance.)“

“Decent food we could find in the area. Service was good. The buns were soft and delicious. Tom Yum noodle soup was satisfying for a cold winter day. The mango salad and spicy tonkatsu ramen were alright - we would not order again. Their matcha latte with boba was refreshing.“

“We always enjoy dining at Jaes but now they have a new policy and allow only 1 check per table. While I can certainly understand not wanting to have 10 checks at one table, we were just a 4 top. It's just awkward for the customer whereas not so for the server“

“Had a long drive home and wanted to stop and get something quick that wasn't fast food. In Great Barrington it's hard not to spend $20-30 on an affordable dinner around here. Got an $8 dinner of delicious chicken and rice made by a lovely woman. Will definitely be stopping back exactly what I was hoping to find. ??“

“This is a great place to eat and meet and talk with local folks. There's a jazz trio led by a friend of mine who teaches young kids how to play jazz. And, they are remarkably good musicians! The atmosphere is pure funk and delightful. The servers are terrific and very friendly. Go there. You won't regret it.“

“I've never had a bad meal or bad beer here. I love that it's a brewery that focuses on classic styles (and has beer on CASK for god's sake!) Being able to get a bitter or English IPA on cask is about as good as it gets. The food's always great too. I've never been disappointed with what I've ordered, and the prices are more than fair. Having oysters there is a huge positive too.I'll continue making the drive from Pittsfield to grab dinner here!“

“I stopped here for a solo dinner on a Sunday evening. It was relatively empty and the servers were so friendly. I got a drink and the carnitas, both were excellent! I thought the prices were a little bit high.I apologize for not tipping as much. I don't normally order specialty drinks, and I know the profit margin on a $12 drink is huge. Forgive me.“

“Definitely recommend selecting from the Anniversary Menu! Each year for the anniversary of the restaurant, they create a special dish and add it to the menu. Eat like you're in a time machine ~ and try creative dishes with cute names! Pro tip: the salmon has been consistently fantastic throughout 2024 Q1 ~ hope it continues indefinitely!Parking: Lots of free parking but can be tricky to find an open spot due to being in the busy, popular downtown area. Leave yourself an extra 5-10 min if you're aiming to arrive at a specific time!“

“Superior food. Our server, Jessica, was friendly, efficient, and knew the menu inside and out. Exceptional! She knew ingredients and preparation of each menu item which made our final choices easy. We had escargot (marvelous) Cesar salad and delicious steak. Will visit again.“
