This place is a good casual, local dining spot. Decent food, decent service, and an old fashioned/nostalgic feel. Try the pretzel bites appetizer and the fettuccine alfredo! The Baked Alaska is also 5 sometimes they sell out.

the food is adequate! went for the St patrick's corned beef and cabbage. The corned beef was excellent, tender and delicious. the carrots and potatoes were also good, who ever cut the cabbage left the entire center part in and it was inedible. there really is no excuse for that. couldn't even cut it with a sharp steak knife, never mind try to eat it. the server was ok. our biggest issue is this policy of 10% discount for cash! WTF! keep in mind you can not get separate checks, you can not use it for specials, you can not receive it unless you let them know up front, you can not use is for ANY specials ie, the daily ones that occur every week. this is ludicrous! either give the 10 percent discount or not. who ever heard of not being able to get separate checks for a party of FOUR! that would be TWO CHECKS! REALLY?? OH AND you can not use a gift card from the restaurant, to get the discount! isn't that like cash? it will be a long time before we go back and we have a gift card !

Barbers now charges a surcharge if you use a credit card. Charging $2 on a $20 meal is 10% and nowhere near what the card company charges them. I will be less likely to eat there in the future.

Visiting Barbers Crossing Road House, affectionately known as 'Barbers,' is consistently an exquisite experience. Her attention to detail and genuine care for our enjoyment were truly remarkable.The highlight of my meal was the colossal 2lb prime rib, a masterpiece of culinary art presented in a perfect medium-rare finish. We ordered roast turkey dinners with stuffing mashed potatoes cran sauce and butternut squash. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. We have been ordering this for Thanksgiving day for many years. We pick it up the day before. It was so good and portions were fair and generous that we will order again for Christmas.

Our family recently reserved the function room in celebration of the passing of a family member. We had contacted a few other restaurants all of whom were either non committal nor willing to accommodate. Barber’s Crossing was responsive and provided with the assurance we needed to book the gathering. Even though our initial number of attendees was off, Barber’s Crossing’s final bill was adjusted to a lower amount. Very appreciative of this. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Thank you to all for providing us with a comforting environment to celebrate a loved one’s passing. We highly recommend Barber’s Crossing.
