Jason and team have always been consistent. I guess that's why the restaurant has been there for 25 years? Wife and I had the Boeuf Bourguignon and the Grilled Pork Chop. Both were excellent! We commented to each other that it was the best meal we've had in a restaurant all year. Thanks Bistro Zinc!

We started out with an appetizer on special; pork belly arancini. This was creative and tasty with a majorly good pool of tomato sauce at the base of the dish. Definitely a first rate selection. The meal started off with a fresh, warm baguette; hard to beat that. We also had the cheeseburger and trout meunière both of which were excellent. One thing to be aware of is that this is French bistro atmosphere; the tables are close together and the noise level can be burdensome. That said we enjoyed the food tremendously and recommend the place highly.

My daughter and I were on a mother daughter trip in the area and were between museums and found this place for a late lunch. We thought the menu was interesting; I had the crab cake BLT and my daughter had the squash soup and the goat cheese salad. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Our waitress was lovely.

Phenomenal trout dish. Wonderful flavors. Arugula, pecans, pear salad was fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere clean and relaxing. Just an excellent restaurant experience!

We went two nights in a row, partly because the nights were M & T of a holiday "leaf peeping" weekend and it was the only game in town (for a nice restaurant). However we both liked it a lot. The service was excellent & attentive, despite the full house. The food was classic French bistro but it was very good and the warmth -- of restaurant, food and service - was perfect for a cool fall night.

A satisfying meal for each of us. The Beef Bourguignon is rich in flavor. The Schnitzel should be ordered medium rare. Generous portions.

Terrible place. They tried to sit us at a very small table that was so tight it was a fire hazard. I requested a more comfortable table but not accommodated. And they were rude. So we walked out. Never going back

The interior of the restaurant paid homage to the great Paris bistro and yet you were aware that you were in modern American restaurant. Lunch was special. My wife and I had luscious fresh corn and potato vichyssoise. My wife also had a beautifully composed salad with fresh blueberries and warmed and encrusted chevre. I must say that the Jambalaya was just plain wonderful. The secret to great this dish is to make a truly tasty and spicy sauce that complements the wonderful seafood and meats. Not overpower with HEAT. I ate every kernel(?) of the cooling white rice. Great wait staff made for a perfect lunch and prelude to a spectacular Jackson Browne concert at Tanglewood

Unfortunately we had two appetizers and two dinners and didn’t enjoy any of them. Salad was drenched with dressing, and chicken was literally sent out in a huge pool of butter that made it inedible and needed to be fixed. We went based on reviews in tripadvisor - and are generally steered right here - so maybe the real chef was on vacation when we went??? Waitstaff was nice.

Friendly staff with great service. Delicious well prepared dishes and reasonably priced. When we are back in the area, we will definitely visit Bistro Zinc! Thank you again.

Overpriced——pretentious—- Seating is crowded; it’s difficult to have a conversation among four people Stroganoff is meager in meat proportion Trout fish scanty with accompanying haricot vert Disappointing service verging on rude.

We happened upon this place as so many were full. Even though they had no space for us at a table, we sat at the bar. We had delicious food, accompanied by a friendly bartender and friendly locals!

On days when performances are taking place in at Tanglewood finding locations for lunch is very difficult. We were accommodated at this restaurant around 2 o’clock for a quick snack. The inside of the restaurant is pleasant and we were seated in the bar. Service was slow but by a quite and thoughtful server. The food was fine. Sadly, my cheeseburger was well over done and my wife’s goat Cheese salad did not impress. I might try this restaurant again.

We had been to Zinc a few years back and decided to go again while on our way to VT. It was just as good as we remembered. The oyster appetizer can't be beat - delicious! Beef and goulash entrees were wonderful, as well. Service was great. Will always be on our list when in the area.

I really like this restaurant. It is chic, classy and the servers are professional. So why three stars. Because a good restaurant prides itself on consistency. Bistro Zinc is just not consistent over the years. For example, the French Onion soup is absolutely luscious. The crab cake, outrageously priced but the best my friend ever had and enjoyed greatly. But our wives duck was tough and not tasty, my sword fish was dry and likewise tasteless. We will give them another shot but I sure wish the food matched the ambience.
