The food was good, however it was an overall bad experience. Our drinks came out half way through our meal, and it took more than 20 minutes from the time I got box for our check to finally get to us due to a technical error which was not communicated. Definitely plan to come back with hopefully better service.

I like the food here, but I noticed that both times that I have been so far, that the price on the check is higher than that stated on the menu (and I am speaking of the base price before the tax). The first time it was only a few cents, so I chalked it up to a mistake. The second time, it was more than this, so I asked for it to be adjusted, and they did. So, just know the price, and pay attention when you get your bill. Other than that, the food is good and the servers are pleasant. Atmosphere is average, maybe will improve over time.

Went in for lunch. Very friendly staff attended us. There wasn’t any overly loud music. We ordered sandwiches and fries, which were very good. Will come back again to try dinner or breakfast.
Recently opened. The old Happy has been renovated and painted. Looks nice inside, bright and sort of clean. Little bit loud music.They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lots of different food on the menus. Not everything was available.Service was mixed. Friendly hostess and waiter. After waiter brought food I never saw him again. Took awhile to get bill, another table was waiting before and after me for their bill. My credit card was billed for more than the amount I signed for.There were a few other things but they are recently opened and hopefully they will get things right soon.The food was good. Potato and leek soup was creamy and tasty. Meatloaf Monday special was a generous portion with mushroom gravy over potato. Got a lot of food for a few bucks.Try Inwood and see what you think.Open all day with a big menu. Big challenge.

No loud music today !!! Stop in soon and give the place a chance. I ordered a take out today at lunch time. Ordering was quick and my food was ready at the time I was told to pick up. I enjoyed the large slice of Prime Rib and it was cooked the way I ordered it. I found it tasty and was given two sides of aju sauce. I went for the summer squash and zucchini mix which was very good. The baked potato was huge and cooked just right and came with a side of butter. I will return to Inwood soon to try a lunch special.

My husband and I have being seeing the old Happy Jack's being renovated and decided to give Inwood bar & grill a try. He had swung buy to pick up a to go order of the Turkey dinner and a cup of the claim chowder to try. The turkey dinner I transferred to a dinner plate and couldn't believe the amount of food. The dinner consisted of two thick slices of REAL turkey w/skin on which was charbroiled(grill marks made pleasing to the eye.)Sage stuffing, skin on mashed potatoes, and a veg medley of cauliflower and broccoli all seasoned very well and a delicious homemade gravy made this a very good 1st impression. The chowder..not so much...quite honestly after tasting what my husband said tasted like flour and milk..I did. I work in the industry so I try not to be super critical but I LOOKED for clams.. found LOTS of potatoes but the broth...it was like they forgot clam juice...let alone the clams. I've attached pics...chowder's not a deal breaker..disappointing but we'll probably try again.

I went there tonight for dinner with my wife, all we had were hamburgers but they were very good! I had sweet potato fries which were cooked just right and my wife had regular fries she liked them also!
