Very friendly staff, cute and clean shop. This shopping trip was a learning experience for me. As a 1st generation Korean-American who grew up helping her family marinate and grill Kalbi for parties, I never actually knew how to accomplish the first step of visiting a butcher to ask for meat. I learned that you should never assume that you're getting the "best" cut of meat they have available; rather, I need to know how to ask for specifically what I want.At the end of the day, I ended up with a new appreciation for good quality marbled meat, versus intermuscular fat. And Alpine Butcher has another loyal customer!

First time going here and I have to say they have a great selection of meats! Some of the cuts I had never heard of or seen at the places I normally go and they had a good selection of exotic meats too which was interesting. I would highly recommend them!

I’ve ordered several times from their website & had it delivered to me in GA. Their meat quality has been nothing short of perfection each time. I’ve tried several different cuts & grades of steak from Australian Denver & NY Strip to A5 BMS 12 steaks. Especially since this is a small business, I want to support them as much as my wallet will allow!10/10 highly recommend.

Great products and friendly service. Please put prices on your items! It's frustrating that 1/3 of the items don't have prices on them. It's especially important when you have more high end food here

Extremely expensive, dare I say overpriced. $210 for a goose? They sell little sized squab here for about $20 that I have seen the exact same product for half that at an Asian market. Raos chicken soup for $8 you can get for $4 at market basket. Also store is quite nice and everything well labelled and that usually means they are making very good money No indication where the meat actually comes from. The most expensive meat they have here, wagyu, is frozen, why pay so much for frozen meat. They do have a good selection of exotic meats. It obviously isn't the same quality but right now Shaw's has strip steaks for $7 a pound and it's five times as much here. Hard for me personally to stomach that. I readily admit I haven't tried their meat. Also their service is very good, sometimes another sign of being too expensive. Surprised enough people in Lowell area can afford this.

I consume copious amounts of steak and lately Whole Foods ribeye wasn’t cutting it for me. I went on a whim ordering from here and pleasantly surprised was an under statement. The steaks are absolutely delicious and come nicely packaged and in a temperature controlled cooler. I order weekly from Alpine’s now and the quality is always consistent which is very important to me. 10/10, thank you.

Purchased a small spoon roast for Christmas dinner. It was delicious, flavorful and tender. I was able to place the order in advance and set the pick up day. The pick up line moved quickly. And staff was so professional and courteous. Overall just a pleasant experience. I’ll be back for more.

Could spent all day writing about how great this place is! Everyone is kind and helpful, and the quality and selection is the best around. They have it all!

Not sure about the quality of meats, but…I ordered Kobe grand champion burgers at 20 bucks a piece. It was supposed to come in a special package/box and authenticity. Not mine, they came in. Regular package, how am I supposed to know if I’m getting what I paid for?Update. These guys at Alpine have 10 star customer service. I didn’t even include my order number and they automatically sent me a email and refunded me for two of the burgers and emailed me the authenticity of the meat. Will be ordering from you all for my high quality meats. Thanks Apline!

I recently completed a purchase of the 10-pack grass-fed ribeye/NY strip. 2 steaks in and I am a little disappointed - the two steaks I had were very tough, gamey tasting and full of gristle. They also have a very, very dark color so they almost taste/look like they came from a retired dairy cow rather than a beef cow. If the rest of the steaks are the same, I might end up just grinding them into burgers...Update: barely a few minutes after I posted this review, Tom reached out to me to make this right without me even asking. This kind of customer service is truly extraordinary and worthy of a 5-star rating on its own. I will definitely order again from Alpine Butcher and I am sure I will enjoy their products more next time.

One of the few places in the area where you can get authentic Japanese A-5 Wagyu. When I ordered mine it even came with a birth certificate. Staff was supper helpful in recommending the right amount. Wide variety of high end and normal meats. Worth the drive.
