I waited too long to visit Cameo Diner. I’ve lived in the area for years and finally made it to this mainstay diner in the Lowell area. Family owned and operated, Cameo has been part of the community for years doling out delicious, hot food while keeping that diner charm alive.Food was fresh, hot and had great flavor. Coffee was perfect. We sat at the counter until a booth opened up and were quickly waited on.We ordered the following:Eggs Benny(classic)Blueberry pancakesOmeletteJennie’s home friesThe eggs Benny was so good, simple but lots of flavor. The Jennie home fries were wicked good, with onions and jalapeños and came out piping hot.My husband enjoyed his omelette and the blueberry pancakes were stellar, nice and fluffy.It took too long to visit but now it will be a breakfast staple!Parking: Parking lot to the side of cameo diner

I ordered the cameo, the potatoes where not cooked but they were hot. Since the new cook took over the quality of the food has gone down hill.

I like traditional diners. Stopped in my accident. Outstanding local diner. All breakfast meats cooked to order. Owner and cook is outgoing, and fun, and has it going on behind the grill. Waitress Jenny was friendly and efficient. I had the Mexican omelet with home fries, both were outstanding. Wonderful diner ambience. Very clean. Plenty of parking. I shall return.

There are two great old fashioned and original diners in Lowell. Having grown up here I can assure you there will never be a disappointment! I won’t mention the other diner here out if respect to this pillar of the community! Long live Cameo!
