I have been a patron of Gold Star restaurant since the very beginning. They have never done me wrong. I've been there when a person had a small complaint and the owner (Jimmy) not only took care of it but gave the woman a free order of chicken fingers. I haven't had any Chinese food since their closing. I am not boycotting other Chinese restaurants. It's just that Goldstar is the only restaurant that I eat egg rolls and Hot and sour soup from. If they were actually clean and it was safe to eat the food the place would be the best of the best around here. Delicious Chinese food but not sanitary at all, high chance you’ll get food poisoning

OMG once the best food around. It just sucks now. Ordered beef with vegetables. All vegetables 3 small pieces of beef. LoMein salty hard noodles, Peking ravioli stale hard dough and these were steamed, Orange chicken just dring a gal of syrup with hard dry chicken approximately 15 small nuggets, boneless chicken wings, hard over cooked. 70 dollars down the drain. Word of advice, don't order there. It just suck worst Chinese food in Lowell. They don't care what they send you as long as they het your money.

Absolutely delicious. I had chicken fingers, meatless fried rice, and a spring roll. Food was hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and patient. I recommend this Chinese food spot to anyone who’s in the Merrimack valley area.
I'm not a huge Chinese food guy to start. Maybe 1 time a year maybe 2 times a year is really pushing it . This place was the spot back in the day . Few years back I ordered was very disappointed. Just moved back around the neighborhood and decided to give them another shot . We'll I was super impressed ? portions = great , food wasn't greasy or blah it was very good . Over all would have been a 5 ☆ review if they had just been a little bit more friendly . But hey I'm not eating them just the food and that was good !!? ?

Ordered 2 plates. Everything was right, except they charged me TWICE almost $50 dollars and neither charge was correct. They won’t even refund either one and charge the correct amount that was given to me. I’m out $100 for mediocre food. Not to mention it took well over an hour for delivery.

Gold Star have been shut down by the City of Lowell. Reason is employees is not wearing mask. There license have been revoke temporarily for the time being until abit renovation and regulations.( GREATEST CHINESE FOOD LOWELL ) also good portion..... ?
