If you haven't already been to this place, it is an experience you are absolutely missing out on. The ladies here take their time with the food and always deliver. The homely environment is reminiscent of traditional Kenyan homes and offers tenderly cooked stews and perfectly crispy ethnic breads.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians will be pleased to know that the items on the menu offer a vegetarian option that pairs just as well.Kid-friendliness: The homely and quiet environment is perfect for children.Dietary restrictions: If you're vegetarian or have any allergies, than letting the chef know is crucial. They will be able to provide you with an alternative or remove an ingredient that may cause an allergic reaction.

Walked in to the cafe for a quick meal and was instantly greeted by a home like appearance. From the food to the actual cafe makes you fell at home. I personally had the beef stew and it was nothing but soft seasoned beef. It was delicious, I also got a flat bread to go with the stew and let me tell you it was exquisite.

I come here with a Kenyan friend who misses Kenyan home cooking. Really great experience. Samosas, chapati, stews. All delicious. Sandra and her daughter and really warm and friendly and make you feel like you are visiting their home.

Awesome joint to eat or order for takeout. Samosas, kenyan sausages, chapatis, beef stew and all.

Tried Wham’s for the first time today. The food was delicious and Sandra, the owner I believe, was so kind and friendly to chat with while she prepared my meal. I had the beef stew with rice, a sausage, and a samosa. My only regret was only getting one samosa, don’t make the same mistake as me. I’ll be back very soon to try the goat stew!

There's no way you can drive through Lowell without stopping off at Wham's Café. The owner cooks her home country's food from her heart. My husband, who lived in Kenya, dreams about the food he had while living there. Nothing made him happier than me bringing home coconut rice, and beef samosas from Whams. My last trip included goatstew and mandazi's. I love that you can call wham's Café and they will send you a text so that you can put in your order... Let's put it this way, give yourself a little bit of time to put in your order because she makes everything fresh and it's worth the wait!
