I was visiting my daughter who lives in town. This was my first time in Massachusetts. I like looking for a local restaurant when visiting a new area where I am staying. Plus I believe in supporting local businesses. I saw that John's Corner was about a five-minute walk or less from my daughter's home, so I walked on over for breakfast. When I walked in, I found the business to be clean and inviting, having a local vibe atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and made sure I was aware of the specials that were not on the menu. I did not have any of the specials, but ordered their "Junk Omelet" off the menu. I found the omelet to be very delicious and fulfilling and the pricing to be fair. I enjoyed my first visit there, that I did go back one more time during my visit to town. When I find myself in the area again, I will definitely be going back to John's Corner, for a good meal.

Vegetarian options: Worst service ever it took a a hour and it wasn’t even busy and the French toast was cold and I wouldn’t call it French toast it was more like a slice of banana bread that was made to be like French toast soggy and had no taste and I’m a professional chef and wouldn’t call any of the food that was brought to my table it all looked so disgusting we didn’t even eat we got it paid for it and left and went to ihops for a real breakfast

A friend of mine & I ventured to John’s Corner on a Tuesday morning. We loved our experience. Tara was a communicative server. She let us know about a delay due to a party of 12 that arrived before us & kept us updated & refilled our water. It has a diner vibe with a feeling of spaciousness. It’s clean & charming. We had an opportunity to meet John. He was gracious & gave us a sample of his amazing chili.I am so happy that we found this gem. I look forward to returning.

I've been making breakfast professionally for 20 years. When i want breakfast, I drive 20 minutes to John's Corner (and there are several breakfast places in walking distance). The service is amazing. The place is immaculate and the food is fresh and homemade .

Awful experience. They were running out of food so I was charged full price for a single 3 inch brown and serve sausage cut in half. They also ran out of bacon so they just assumed I wanted ham instead. I was treated more like a child in a struggling family trying to stretch a dollar than I was a paying customer. They even served blackened toast. How hard would it have been to just try again on the toast. Their idea of 2pcs of French toast is a single slice of white bread cut in half. None of my food was warmer than room temperature. For almost $40 McDonald's would have been a far better choice.

Driving through from northern MA, we were looking for a bit of a dive breakfast place and came across Johns Corner. To our surprise, the inside was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was unlike any breakfast place around us. The food was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the presentation was unmatched. The home fries, biscuits, and gravy were perfect. Next time I pass through, I'm going for the homemade hash.

Wife sat there for an eternity waiting for our pick up order while she watched the cook nod out every 2 minutes. She was so high on percs one of the other staff had to go in and help her finish cooking.
