Entire family (30+) went to celebrate our late grandmother and almost all of us ended up with severe food poisoning.Had to ask repeatedly for water.No high chairs for little kids.
Very good food, Portuguese dishes as well American food. Waitress was very friendly. Prices are great and the quality and quantity of food was excellent!!!

Tried Tony & Penny's yesterday for the first time for lunch. Dined with my fiance & Father, who had been here before & had positive things to say. We were told that we could seat ourselves & enjoyed a very nice meal. The atmosphere was comfortable, clean & cozy. Specials were listed upon entering. Our waitress was friendly & pleasant. Service was great. My Dad ordered the Cajun swordfish, which he liked & had the kale soup with that, he also said was good, my fiance got the Roast Sirloin & mashed potatoes/veggies & a salad, he was happy with his choice, and I ordered the Chicken Francaise over linguine, and the chicken soup, which I enjoyed. Everything was delicious & freshly made, you could tell. Overall, I think Tony & Penny's is a nice restaurant that I would definitely recommend. They also have a private banquet room, for special functions/occasions. I don't venture out to Ludlow often, but I would stop in again, if in the area! We had a get together with family and friends yesterday after my step-daughter’s funeral service. My husband’s family has been having their family events at Tony & Penny’s for years. It’s a family tradition. Naturally, with the recent death of my step-daughter, my husband and I went to Tony & Penny’s to book the banquet room. It wasn’t available due to another event already taking place. Fatima went out of her way to accommodate us. She offered the dining room but it wouldn’t work due to the amount of people we were expecting. She then got on the phone to see what other venues were available. She tried the Polish Club, Fish and Game Club and one was already booked and the other venue wasn’t going to work for our group. She kept on going until she found us the Ludlow Portuguese Club. We can’t thank her and her staff enough for going out of their way during a difficult time. We just can’t say enough about Tony & Penny’s. They provided the food, linens and service. Everyone couldn’t say enough about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the Portuguese Club was. I would highly recommend working with Fatima to plan your banquet event. She really impressed us and went above and beyond. She made a sad and stressful time, easier for us by ironing out the details. We had a buffet that had a spread of meats, cheeses, salad, bread, stuffed shells, manicotti, meatballs, wings, cheesecake, chocolate cake and carrot cake.
