The reality is that for many years I have been a very frequent customer who buys cakes in this place almost monthly, 1 and 2 cakes, but lately I have not been satisfied with the filling because it is a very thin layer which is barely visible and my last cake It was an order of Dominican style chocolate dough with chocolate filling covered in cream and it was very unpleasant. I received an Americans cake. I felt very bad for the person celebrating because I was very excited to try the cake but next time follow the instructions.

I love Dominican cakes! They are delicious. Unfortunately, they have gotten very expensive, which wouldn’t be a problem if the product keeps its quality. We usually travel all the way from the south shore of Massachusetts all the way to Lynn to go get a cake. Sadly, this last time was a bit disappointing because there was hardly any pineapple in the middle. Please try your best to keep consistency so that we can keep enjoying your cakes.

We gave this bakery FOUR chances to make us a good birthday cake and they still made it completely awful and different from what we asked. We even provided a picture and complained.
I finally went to eat the tres leches here in actual bakery it's made in . I already knew I love Thier tres leches cuz many stores in Lynn sell Diaz bakery tres leches. The cake itself is yellow and not too sweet definitely yummy then the frosting is real whipped cream not the fake frosting. My opinion I love Thier tres leches it was a cute place to sit afterschool and decent price a buck for a can a Pepsi is a decent deal I definitely enjoyed sitting in there it's very cute.

I just think they should have a person that has a better handwritting.. When they write Happy birthday on the cakes it looks like the handwriting of a four year old..

My wife ordered a tress leche cake for My Birthday and it was the worst tress leche I have ever tasted. It wasn’t even wet, it was dry and very salty. I don’t know what happened there but it was horrible. Some of the guests at my party also got diarrhea from it including my brother. On top of that we called the bakery told them what happened and they said they would call us back to resolve the issue and they didn’t even bothering calling back. It’s a shame this place has fallen, this place use to be a gem with the old owners. Very disappointing.

I’m sad to see this place has such bad reviews. I have only ordered my cakes from Diaz bakery for the past couple years. I’ve had probably over about 20 cakes made by them and have never been dissatisfied. Their Dominican cake is like no other! It’s the only cake I order so not sure how other style cakes are here, but every time I get one of their cakes I am ALWAYS asked where I got it! They are delicious and hard to come by! The guava and pineapple filling are my fave!

I walked by the bakery today and was attracted by its piling up breads and the amusing flour smell. I tried several types of bread they have. They basically have the same flavor or very similar flavor. However, they are not bad at all and only costed me 50 cents each. What a bargain! Definitely coming back for more.
