I got the Haddock Anna's Way and it was horrible. The portion size was small and had no taste. It was undercooked. The waitress took the fish back and had it heated up? WTH? It still wasn't cooked. One side of it was grey looking and on the slimy side. For the price Legal charges, I should have been given a fresh new piece. The waitress said it would take too long to cook a new piece?!? I asked if the cook was new. She didn't respond. She was never rude, but not accommodating and she never had the manager come over or the manager just wasn't interested. The broccoli was awful it wasn't the steamed broccoli, and I got the asparagus & that was bland and stringy. I get this dish in Peabody all the time. Huge portions and is delicious. I was offered something else. I got the crab cake appetizer, which was good. I'm disappointed and quite angry.
Not enough food for the price, ordered two fishermen platters, one with two scallops, three shrimp and large amount of calamari, four pieces of fish, and of course a ton of french fries. The other with four scallops, & five pieces of fish and of course a ton of french fries. The waiter was fabulous & the food was hot, unfortunately for the amount of food and price, don't think we will be back.

The lobster and steak ramen were delicious, and so was the fisherman platter. The mangro lemon drop martini was amazing!

I have been to Legal C many times - the bartender made good drinks but was somewhat hard to get his attention for the second round - they clearly had their favorite customers. The clam chowder was good, as always. The Caesar salad (again which I have had many times) was super dry - they totally skimped on the delicious dressing. My haddock dinner was so "mid" the fish (big piece so I was excited but...) had absolutely NO taste, kind of dry the broccoli was tasty but over cooked and hardly any rice. Even the tomato had hardly any taste. I have never left a meal partly eaten or not taken home but did this time.
Food has changed. Doesn't feel fresh. Feels like it was partially cooked hours earlier. Cold when supposed to be hot? Greek salad shouldn't have lettuce. Sheep feta Bermuda onion Cucumber mint or oregano. Chopped smaller Cmon

Everything the restaurant could control was amazing! However, there were two women who “dumped” their kids @ a table/proceeded to drink @ the bar. The kids were completely obnoxious. Other than that, however, the experience was “on point.” I only wish people would have more respect for other patrons & not subject them to their ill-behaved children.

White wine always warm at a seafood restaurant ruins meal every time. Servers struggle to get an ice bucket and help from the bartenders. I'm paying $65 for white wine and getting it cold is a battle

Our server was very patient and attentive as we had a close to 3 hour lunch. I am vegan so I have no review in the seafood but the bang bang cauliflower and power bowl were excellent! Not very many options for me and no almond milk for my coffee but I still enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend

It was a disaster. We arrived at 6:30 and ordered drinks and dinner. Drinks and salad came quickly but we kept asking where our dinners were and were told they were coming. After 50 min we were told they lost our tickets and they had run out of the item my husband ordered. We finally got our dinners an hour and 10 min after we ordered and the fish was raw. we had to send them back. The manager did take off one meal and we packed up our dessert because after 1 hour and 50 min we had had enuf. We have been patrons of Legal for 50 years and this was our worst experience.
Just left Legal C in Lynnfield - awesome night! Food was excellent our server Gio was even better. He didn't rush us and Let us take our time . His recommendations were outstanding. I will return very soon. I won't need a menu I will just request Gio!!!! Lenore

My dinner was literally upside down. The dressing, tomatoes and bacon were under the wedge lettuce. The grilled salmon was broken in 3 pieces with the pale side up. I did not send it back as I would be eating alone when it came back. The rolls did not arrive until our dinners were done. My friend did not get her coleslaw until she was almost done and asked for it.

Lobsters were great would have given a 5 but lobster bisque was very disappointing. There was pure sherry on top , not mixed in , off taste and bisque was only lukewarm . I will not order this again. Twin lobsters however were delicious. Would do that again. Waitress somewhat sharp , attitude and lost my mom's credit card. Took a while to find it
Both food and services were great! We get the mussels almost always and they're a hit or miss, these time they were absolutely delicious and fresh. The salmon was fresh too, and my husband love his filet mignon.
