I have been going here since it opened and have left good reviews in the past. Unfortunately I can't leave a good review this time. $180 with the tip. Drinks are watered down? We got Petron margaritas and you couldn't taste the alcohol. One margarita came in a very small glass with mostly ice, when I asked to send it back they said they were out of margarita glasses and thats why it came in the small glass? On a Friday night at 6p and the place was empty and you are out of margarita glasses? I ordered hard shell tacos with shredded chicken. Chicken was dry dry and the tacos were bland bland. Side of guacamole was $10??? WOW! We left very unsatisfied and felt like we wasted $180. Staff is always great and the place is always clean but for $180, $10 guacamole, $60 for drinks and $28 for Meh tacos we probably will not be going back or recommending this restaurant again. We ended up going to 3 Amigos in Malden and had drinks and we were very happy with them.

On the "Good-Meh-Suck" scale, this was a solid "Meh". Nothing spectacular but not bad. Just average. I usually can tell by the salsa if it will be good or not. This was not. It's not bad but I am not running back anytime soon. Good luck

I highly recommend this place for Mexican cuisine. Food was great! I got the combo #1 and it was delicious. The portion sizes are great! The enchilada was my favorite. The only thing I was not the biggest fan of was the tamale was okay, not enough pork in it and a little mushy. I ended up eating them along with my chips for the perfect crunch. The service is overall AMAZING!! They go above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is great. They are wonderful people. The ambiance was lovely. The decor and inside is beautiful! I love the tables and how they tile! I definitely recommend going here!

El Porto is the perfect neighborhood Mexican bar and restaurant. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the food and drinks are always a hit!

I had to go into this restaurant because I locked myself out of my car. What a surprise I had. Atmosphere very Mexican and very affable waitress waited on me. I thought I'd get a cup soup and la señorita managed to bring me a pasta soup that was delicious and that she had made up special for me since I am vegetarian. Very accommodating! Music was a bit loud in background for me, but the service made up for it.

Didn't come here with high expectations, but I was happily proved wrong! The steak fajitas were delicious and the employees were sooo nice!! We'll definitely come back next time we're in Boston!!
