I have nothing bad to say. We just got back from a late lunch and shared their combo meal for two. Since moving to Boston two years ago we've been searching for a good spot and we finally found it. Worth the trip to get there and will be going back!

I have eaten at Mulu previously and enjoyed the food. However, I ate there recently and had a terrible experience. The vegetables and meats on the combo plate were room temperature and the injera was cold, right out of the fridge. A totally disappointing meal. I think the combo plate had been sitting in the kitchen for a while and they simply added ice cold injera bread and served it.

Not enough food was given for 3 people. The doro wot had 1 piece of chicken and the rest was sauce. Was not full at the end. Didn’t feel like we got our money’s worth and didn’t feel very welcomed.

Don't let the outside stop you. It's a strip mall place that is great! We were too hungry to remember to take pictures! Staff were super nice and attentive, but it was a slow weeknight, so YMMV. We had ayeb appetizer and the non vegetarian for 2 with kitfo. Lots of kitfo! Everything was tasty, spicy, as in extremely flavorful, but not too much burn.I think 1 more injera would have been good, but we were full.We have to revisit other area Ethiopian places before confirming the crown, but for me they are in the top 2. Best raw kitfo for sure.

Great good! I have always gotten takeout from this place, so I can’t really comment on the dining experience, but the place is cozy and the staff are nice. And the food is great!

When we saw there was an Ethiopian spot nearby, we figured we had to stop by!It was pretty empty when we came for an early dinner so we were seated relatively quickly and had our orders taken fast as well. Service wasn't super friendly, but they were efficient. Would definitely not recommend getting anything other than their main plates - the portion was pretty disappointing otherwise. We enjoyed the combo we got with the various dishes and asking for more of the bread was easy as well. The sauces were flavorful, the portion was just again a bit small. Ultimately, I'm glad we tried it and would probably come back in the future if craving Ethiopian food again. Thanks, Mulu!
