great food and super fun and welcoming atmosphere! A little on the pricier side but worth it because everything is delicious and high quality. the people are very friendly, especially the owner. only downside is that it can get crowded and service gets slow (which is no one's fault) so I recommend ordering ahead of

Yummy, not offensively sweet OG bubble tea. When you go into this store, It's more than just flashy sweet drinks like you see down the road in Malden center. There is so much love and care baked, brewed and made into everything that's made there. You can't go wrong at Monkey King Tea, unless you don't stop and go in.Every time I think I'm going to make a review for this place. I have already eaten the thing I've ordered.

Small shop with great taro bubble tea. Awesome corn dog, would skip on the chashu. The shop is understaffed, but the person behind the counter was friendly, patient and helpful.

Corn dog was yummy. Hot dog on top and cheese at the bottom. Cheese was lacking. I would still get it again.I got the oolong milk tea. I love oolong and hadn't had it as a milk tea before so I thought it would try it. Not my favorite and I don't think it was the fault of Monkey King. I just don't think oolong should be used this way. It was clashing with the milk and sugar. I would go back to try another flavor.

Coconut and taro shake with bubbles, boba were hard and the Korean corn dog was raw inside, never coming back to this place.

This place is absolutely fantastic! A must visit. Woman owned, and operated makes it even better. Have not tried the bubble tea yet, but it is on the agenda for my next visit. Stop by and check this establishment out... you will not be sorry.

Monkey King Tea is such a cute little boba place - my favorite thing to actually get is their cream stuffed churros with Nutella drizzle! The servers and cashiers are always so sweet as well. Will be coming back.

This place is a hidden gem. It has so many amazing offerings. When I lived nearby I would get boba frequently with my friend, who had lived in Medford longer and had told me about it. Have enjoyed every flavor I've tried. Over the past few years they've expanded the menu to include awesome ice cream, and now mochi donuts. They also have indulgent snacks. The sundae creations have always looked really cool, so I finally tried one. It had matcha ice cream (the best I've had in a while!) pocky chocolate covered biscuit sticks, mochi (which I've missed as a topping), and a bubble waffle! My bf got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch mochi donut. Great spot, highly recommend!

Best boba I’ve had in the greater Boston area!!!! I got the taro shake with boba and mango jelly and it was SO GOOD! A little pricey but it’s a local business so your dime is going toward something good

I love this place - food and drinks are both excellent. I usually get the spam and egg thing and/or a puffle sundae. Tried the volcano chicken and it was great. The one negative is that service is really, really slow. Probably would recommend ordering ahead unless you have extra time.

Chill inconspicuous spot. They have pretty good bubble tea and they also have an assortment of coffee, coffee beans, desserts, snacks, and some merchandise. It’s the closest place to me that sells takoyaki and onigiri (which I wouldn’t expect) - both tasty :) They have some space to sit and they also do online takeout. Also across the street from a dope thrift shop!

Money see, Monkey eat! They have a diverse menu and everyone's favorite Asian snack! Their quality and flavors have been consistent for all these years which is amazing! My favorites are their mera mera fries and crab Rangoon which are the perfect savory snack! The salmon onigirizu is smoked salmon, rice, and spicy Mayo. It was super yummy but I really wished I had more! Definitely a fun spot to go for a drink, a snack, or dessert! Support local family businesses!

Great locally owned boba shop. Please do go support if you are in the area! The shop has a bunch of niche baked goods and also specialty ice cream flavours so it’s a super fun novelty.Because it’s made in house the creaminess and quality can vary. So don’t expect Hagen das type experience. The drink flavours are also pretty novelty but I also don’r remember it to stand out above the alternatives unfortunately. I just remember that they combinations were unique and that the execution was as expected but not impressive (which is not a bad thing at all).Their shop is super small so know that if there’s a lot of people, expect a wait.I think if they decided to do a halo halo style drink and executed it at the same level, I’d trust this place to execute it and be back in a second.
