I went to Sarku with my husband and son about a week ago on a Friday. We got 2 chicken teriyaki, 1 with extra chicken and 1 regular, costing us about $25. As I was eating the one with extra chicken, I had gotten a big piece of metal screw in my mouth. Luckily I did not bite down on it, otherwise it would've broken my teeth. I gave it to my husband to bring to them. I have no idea how did a big piece of metal like that got into my food. What if I accidentally swallowed it, or what would have happened if little ones ate them? I lost my appetite. The manager was contacted and he did gave us back a refund for one regular chicken teriyaki, even though that was the one I paid extra for chicken.I would highly recommend anyone young or old, if you decide to eat at Sarku in the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlboro, to please make sure you check your plate before consumption. As for us, I am not going to ever risk my teeth being broken or accidentally swallow any foreign object. Their food is definitely not worth any of that. Not to mention that their teriyaki sauce is so diluted that they are really runny now compared to before, and no siracha sauce. The metal object in their food was definitely the deciding factor that they will lose our support for life.

So where to begin. I was in the mall and stopped to get a bite to eat. this place is always busy and they make good food.I ordered my food, and waited; I dipped into the rest room and when I came back my order was ready. As soon as I picked up my food the guy from behind the counter grabs my bag and tells me don't steal food.I understand if there are issue with food being stolen, I get that, but you didn't even ask me if I had a receipt you just assumed I was stealing.after I told him that I paid for it, he still would not give me my food, so I walked over to get a refund from the cashier, and as soon as I wanted my money back there was no problem and zero apology from him.I will never spend another dime at this place.

Horrible. I got the salmon nigiri and it was the most tasteless thing I ever got. Absolutely disguting and I felt like I was chewing on an old piece of gum.

I love a good teriyaki chicken when available but sadly this isn't it. I'd opted for fried rice but it tasted like mushy rice instead. Barely any sauce on top of everything and some sad a** potstickers.

Serves teriyaki, pick your protein and starch. Also can add veggies-- when I asked what the veggie option was the woman at the register just said no? But it turned out to be cabbage and broccoli.

Good mall teriyaki, some of the best cuisine you will find in a mall, the best I say hmmm yes

I got food poisoning. I don't know why I would trust food court sushi. It you care about your health do not eat here.

Half the time they don’t cook the noodles right. Make sure your noodles are thoroughly cooked.
