A mouse was running back and forth in the middle of the dining room. When we let the server know she said "Oh that's funny! Yes, they come in when it's cold outside." So disgusting. I will never go back to this place.

I ate at Wildwood last night with some coworkers. The staff was wonderful and very attentive the food unfortunately was not. It took them several tries to get 2 of our guests orders correct the food didn't have a lot of taste and the apps tasted frozen. Half way through dinner we had a visitor in the dining room a rodent the size of a small cat that didn't seem to bother or surprise anyone that worked there. It was not a great experience and I definitely won't go back.

We loved coming to The Wildwood many years ago and tried it again after several years. We had a 4:30 PM reservation and arrived around 5 minutes early. Upon arrival we and several other couples we scolded by the hostess/manager/owner for arriving before they were open. After standing around for 10 or 15 minutes we were asked for our names a few times which seemed to only add to the confusion. We were eventually seated at a circular banquette table just adjacent to the entrance. The first thing we noticed was the stickiness of the tabletop. It was the entire table, so I don't think it was from something that had been spilled. I believe it was from whatever cleaning solution they had used. Basically, everything that touched the table stuck to it. The napkins, your hands, your clothing, literally everything stuck. Our server did her best, but she was the victim of things that seemed to be out of her control. A different server brought bread to our table and a short time later our server tried to as well. There seemed to be confusion on who was doing what and when. Our orders were fairly straight forward, two entrees and two starters. This is where the problems start. One starter arrived followed by our two entrees. We explained to the server who brought our entrees that we would skip the starter that hadn't arrived. In the middle of our entrees our original server brought the second starter, totally unaware that our entrees had been brought out. When a side salad didn't arrive with the entrees it was brought to the table while we were finishing up our entrees. The burger was cooked as ordered but very much on the dry side. The accompanying steak fries were excellent. The cowboy ribeye was also cooked as ordered but somewhat dry and unimpressive. Certainly at $70 we expected more. The quality of the food was somewhat sub par but the real problems were the disorganization of the kitchen. I believe the meat orders come from a grill area, the starters and salads come from separate area and everything else comes from yet another area. The problems obviously arise from a lack of coordination between these areas. Through it all our server was friendly, hardworking and obviously tried her best. With the rudeness of the seating person, the mistakes of the kitchen and the unimpressive (yet expensive) food, I don't think we'll be back.

Went to the Wildwood on a Thursday night and sat in the lounge. We waited 15 minutes and not one waitress acknowledged us even though we waved to them. I understand that good help is hard to come by, but that's no excuse for at least saying I'll be right with you. We left and have no plans to return.

Amazing bar and dining room. Beautiful artwork around the bar. 1$ oysters on Thursday nights. I had the lobster roll with was overflowing with meat. The calamari appetizer was fantastic.

Ate dinner at the bar on Tuesday, 11/2. Food is great when they get it right but Wildwood had started going downhill even before covid.Between the five of us we had the bourbon steak tips, chicken madiera, fish tacos, and two burgers. First we didn't get the basket of bread that is complimentary, walked to the bar to ask since our waiter was clearly in over his head with us and one other table (the waiter working with him had five tables behind us). He had just taken an order and was entering in to the system since they haven't invested in tablets, I waited until he was done and when he turned around I asked if we could get bread to which he said "I am only one man". When he came to the table with the bread basket he made light of it but clearly had just come in from having a cigarette absolutely reeking of smoke, obvious no attempt to wash his hands or grab a piece of gum.Food took about 30 min to come which was very reasonable, especially since this was unusually busy for a Tuesday, but only the chicken and tips came. 20 minutes later the fish tacos and one burger came, and 20 min from that the 2nd burger came. Unfortunately we waited to eat until everyone had their food, and the tips and chicken were just too cold and garlic herb mashed potatoes had turned into a gelatinous clump. Fish tacos had 5 French fries, 2nd burger was burnt beyond being edible (asked for medium), and no sign of the manager. On the way out the matre d' and his helper were hanging out and chatting, didn't bother to acknowledge us or ask how our meal was, and at that point we stopped by Burger King on the way home and took the lossWe've lived in Marlborough for 15 years and this was always our go-to spot, but over the past 4-5 years it's obvious that the owners have given up on this place. Unfortunate but hearing similar experiences from our friends in town. Recent renovations in the restaurant-side are great but the bar is dated and cold. What a shameSave your money and time, too many new options in town to be putting up with this.

Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised. Before making our reservations, I had read the reviews of the last year, with many panning this restaurant for one reason or the other. Although somewhat leary, my wife and I decided to give it a try and brought with us two out of town guests. We were greeted very warmly and once at our table, our waiter, Thyago, came immediately with warm rolls, butter and water, and could not have been more attentive , but not overly so, throughout our dining experience. My wife ordered the lamb which she said was delicious and attractively presented, and our guests both ordered the Teriyaki Sirloin, and said likewise. I had the NY Sirloin, which was cooked exactly how I liked it (Medium Rare- pink in the middle), but although reasonably tender, did lack somewhat in flavor. We concluded our dinner with Creme Brulee and Peanut Butter Pie, both of which were quite good. All and in all, the evening was a pleasant dining experience which we plan on again having.

Haven't been here in a while so thought I would give it another try. Steaks were well cooked but tasteless. Side were average. People who ordered fish liked it. Way too expensive for blah food.

Firefly’s recently catered our offsite event. Bianca, the event coordinator, was so nice, easy to work with and listened to my needs/requests. The food was cooked onsite. The staff that was there were polite, clean and used safe food practices. They the served appetizers first, with a pause and smooth transition to dinner. The food was plentiful and AMAZING. All of our guests raved about it. The breakdown was quick, and the leftover food was packed for us. I would 100% recommended Firefly’s to anyone.

Steaks came out overcooked, sent one back and it was returned to our table cut open in another place to show us that it was right but it was the same steak so... no less cooked. Next steak was rare, which was better than over so we accepted it. Chef, or whatever you want to call him, then told the waitress to inform us it was rare. We were aware. Nice to know he intentionally gave us another steak not prepared correctly. Another steak was legit raw. Whole meal was a hot mess. Only redeeming quality was one of our waitresses having an awesome sense of humor and handling the situation beautifully. If you want to overpay for a poorly prepared steak, Wildwood will not disappoint!

A rare find. But let the appetizer round breathe a little bit before you round the corner full speed with the entree. We’re not in a hurry to get outta there, don’t worry

Came here on a Friday evening and the place was relatively full, but we had reservations so we were seated quickly. The ambiance is actually pretty sleek - the place seemed relatively modern and they have a deck that's under construction so they'll have more interesting seating soon! Our server was very friendly and helpful. She answered all of our questions and was very attentive in making sure we got what we needed. I found the service overall really great, honestly wouldn't change a thing. The food itself was pretty good. I recommend the appetizers and raw bar - I enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip, served with these crispy pita bread pieces which added a lot of fun crunch to the dish, and then the oysters were fantastic. Honestly some of the best ones I've ever tasted and then the clams and shrimp were yummy too! Even the bread was great - hot and fluffy with amazing room temperature butter that was easy to spread and just melted in my mouth. The steak honestly wasn't amazing - for a steakhouse, I found it a little disappointing as I expected it to be the highlight, but overall it fell a little short. It was cooked well enough ( medium rare for me ), but I found the flavor lacking. Maybe I'll have to try a different cut next time - the rest of the meal was great though and I won't hesitate to come back!
