Don't get me wrong the food is great but they illegally charge a 4% fee when you use a credit card and claim to waive the fee if you pay cash. This is a violation of Massachusetts law section 28A. Does matter has been recently reported. I have been told that is pending investigation. Pictures of the sign at the counter have been submitted as evidence along with video and several receipts. Annie's will end up having to refund every surcharge it received. Massachusetts is one of two states that does not allow businesses to add a surcharge to customer purchases in order to cover the cost of credit or debit card processing fees, according to the Massachusetts Restaurant Association.Massachusetts General law Section 28A: Cardholder discounts; surcharges; finance chargeSection 28A. It’s ok in flavor - medium ranked in town. But the experience was not good - finding out an extra charge on the order which was also different from what I heard over the phone. This ruined my mood a bit - so watch out for that.
