Arthur's is an old family bakery that still makes everything from scratch, including the whipped cream and custard filling. Their lobster claws are the best I've ever eaten. love the whipped cream cakes. its real whipped cream so eat it up quickly. If you go to the West Medford store, see Vickie. She's amazing, very sweet, and so helpful.

Very good cookies, great selection. Also allows you to call ahead to order things such as Pies. The cookies I purchased are great and everything else also looked good.Good spot to grab a tray for an event or holiday party.

Went in last Saturday around 1pm to buy a few things. Left with nothing because the counter woman was BEYOND rude. She was in the back and I was the only customer in the store. I waited until she saw me and asked if she could help. She begrudgingly came out to the front and huffed and puffed about how she wanted “2 mins of peace and quiet” and how busy she was this morning. She barely wanted to tell me what the item was that I was pointing out. She made a comment about how she didn’t have a box for just one item. I decided that I did not need to support a small business like this because I can go down the block and support another business. If you don’t want to make any money then just shut your store down. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

Arthur's Italian pastry shop is an old-school Medford Italian bakery. The outside, and the interior, have old world charm. The employee who waited on me was very friendly, and we chatted for a little while after I ordered. The refrigerator cases looked a little bit empty, but they were clean and maybe I just went at a time of year that is not super busy. I ordered cannoli, tiramisu, a Whoopie pie and a slice of ricotta pie. The cannolis are filled to order (which is what you want in order to avoid sogginess). The tiramisu rolls are beautiful. The ricotta pie was pretty good. The whoopie pie cake was good but the filling is a sugary frosting, and I prefer a lighter texture. None of the items were the best I've ever had but all were good and I would definitely get the cannolis again.

My roommate surprised me with a birthday cake from Arthur's on my birthday and it was seriously the best birthday surprise. I LOVE CARROT CAKE, and this cake was delicious - it's in the fridge now and definitely a special treat thing bc the frosting is A LOT (the cake is def like 70% frosting , 30% cake kind of), it's very sweet but a bit on never hurt nobody. Their carrot cake is seriously delicious though, their cakes are also BIG.
