This place is great! Had the nachos supreme (with pulled pork), and the pulled pork Mac and cheese and reuben egg rolls which come with a delicious dipping sauce! Cocktails were also very good!

There were two issues:1. There were multiple mice in the dining room. We counted more than 4-5. Possibly more. They were running around underneath tables in the dining room. When we notified the waitress, she did not seem to care at all….board of health will be notified. This is completely unacceptable.2. Service sucked. It took forever for them to take our order, and the waitress forgot about us for around 30 minutes after we ordered our drinks. When I ordered my food, the waitress almost ran off before taking my girlfriend’s order.Food was good. Burgers were decent, French onion soup and oysters were very good. Ambiance was good.

Went in with a group of friends, had to wait for a table. Ordered a drink at the bar, the cocktails were full of mixer and could barely drink it. Ordered some apps and dinner when we sat down. The oysters were fresh and tasted great, The egg rolls we ordered were cold in the middle, the mac and cheese had a separated grainy sauce that was not great. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich, the onion roll was overwhelming and too bulky, the chicken had a weird taste and color. I was sick after eating at Carroll's Would not recommend, would not come back.

Excellent place for dinner. The hotel we stayed at recommended it when we asked and we were able to walk there and back! I would definitely go back again if in the area!

Horrible service. Went there for dinner before a show at the Chavalier Theater. Had to wait for a table understandable knowing there was a lot of people doing the same. Waitress took for ever to take our drink order. Came back with my husband's but I never got mine. Finally she came to take our order still no drink for me. Bus boy came with our appetizer and what we thought was our food we ordered 2 lobster roll specials. They were not for us but a couple that came in 30 mins after us and ordered after us. A while later waitress came over to tell us they ran out of the special. This also left us no time to order something else or we would have been late to the show. No apology. She could have cared less. Paid for the one drink and undercooked appetizer. First time I didn't leave a tip. Worst service I've ever had. Would not recommend. Ruined the night. This rating didn't even deserve 1 ⭐.

Excellent! Top notch! Service and food! We will definitely be back if we are in the area. Great Italian food (chicken piccata) and my hubby had the scrod.

Great pre-show option in a classic Medford eatery. A local favorite for decades, now it's both bar and restaurant with a great chef, welcoming smiles from all the staff and a nice décor. Recommend chowder, ribs and tacos. Can't wait to go back

We had come to Medford for a performance, that wound up being a complete disappointment. Then we walked to Carroll's and that made our evening. Amazing dinner. The restaurant was beautifully and tastefully decorated. The staff were fabulous. Drinks were amazing, as was our entire meal. Appetizers, entrées, and dessert. We left happy, satisfied, and discussed when we will come back (a 90-minute drive). Really

Carroll's has a study fan group of consistent, loyal patrons. Even on a Sunday night, you'll see the regulars flocked at the bar or in the cushy leather booths. The restaurant does a great job of honoring the history and culture of the town in which it resides, Medford, through its mini signature cocktails that feature names and events historical to the town. The nachos were very large and could have had more cheese and salsa on it, but hit the spot. Their famous onion rings were praised on high by another customer, however they lacked seasoning and flavor, yet they were large and hand cut. This place is spacious and welcoming. It is highly recommended for a few drinks on the Mystic River. You'll love the warmth and fond memories that it brings to the town. This place could also work well as a great function space for events.

Made a quick pit stop in here while we were waiting for our table at Sura down the block. We grabbed seats at the bar and downed our Allagash Whites and didn’t have a chance to try anything else before we got called back but there weren’t any issues with service for the brief time that we were here.

Food was good but bill was much higher than what was shown on the menu. Up charges for everything.
