Drove up from RI for the Daikaiju/Eight Foot Manchild/Matt Heaton & the Electric Heaters show on a Wednesday night 4/24/24 and had a most excellent time. Surprisingly parking was not a problem as there is a decent amount of free public parking after 6:00 in the lot behind Citizens Bank across the street (this is Medford after all ). The performance room looked like it could hold a couple of hundred comfortably (standing only no seats) while there was an adjacent bar room with a good sized bar and several tables. Deep Cuts is also a micro-brewery which offers about a dozen selections; the Brown Ale and Cream Ale I purchased were solid. Unisex bathrooms were pristine. I could write a separate review on the bands - the openers were locals from Medford, and Daikaiju are a national touring band from ??? specializing in surf/metal with an emphasis on audience participation, to say the least. It was the most fun I've had on a Wednesday night in ages. As someone more famous than me once said, "I'll be back..."

DO NOT GO HERE FOR RECORD STORE DAY NOT A RECORD STORE. DO NOT GO HERE EXPECTING A LARGE SELECTION OF RECORDS This place could be a fine venue for food or drinks but it should NOT be advertising itself as a record store. There are maybe 100 records total in the place. I went here for record store day because it was on the approved list of record stores. Of course they did not have anywhere near the amount of RSD exclusives of other reputable stores on the list. I waited for 2 hours in the rain, and didn't get anything i came for. Their instagram also said they would have a "large selection of used records" but i saw nothing of the sort. Utterly disappointing experience--ruined my day

Awesome place, record store, sandwich shop, brewery, music venue. We stopped by for lunch, parking can be tough but if you ride around a bit maybe you can find a metered spot. I had a turkey reuben, my wife had an insane chicken pesto sandwich. Both were excellent. Beer was okay. Service was good. Go here for the sandwiches, you won't be disappointed!

A bday, post fells walk the wife and kids.Found place through google maps reviewNice environment, big - made for live events, but well lit, clean, and lots of spaces.Boys liked pinball machine, beer selection nice (had the gathering nitro-good!)Ordered kids grilled cheese and ham n cheese. Not bad. We fe ordered the Greek - good, heavy due to Feta-but tasty. Great side fries, crispy - fully loaded was good, but the cheese felt too creamy and wish it was a mix of cheese. Cuban very good and very big-nice combination of flavours. Wish they served milk for the kids. Really nice waitstaff, clean bathrooms.

Absolutely a great experience! Friendly bartenders, great food, and great in-house brewed beer!! Got to meet the owner Jeff! Super down to earth and great to talk! Just canned up their first Deep Cuts Beer cans! Selling in-house if you don't have time to sit down and hang definitely take a 4-pack of tall bois to go!

Brewed-in-house beer was mid (I got their NEIPA). Ate a roast beef sandwich and potato salad. Potato salad was really solid. Roast beef sandwich was ok. Too much horseradish mayo sauce while at the same time not being strong enough. Onion bun tasted prepackaged and beef was just ok. Caramelized onions were a nice touch tho.

Great food. Great music. Great vibes. Staff here is super chill. Food is reasonably priced. Great selection of drinks including local brews. New / preowned records are available for sale with a diverse selection. Awesome metal / punk nights.

This was my first time trying Deep Cuts. I’ve heard a lot of good things and was super stoked to try it out. We had a party of 6 and sat at the large picnic style tables. One of the guys from the bar took our food and drink orders. The environment was very social and the lights were dim giving it a grungy dive bar vibe, but in a clean way lol. Our food and drinks showed up fast. One person from our group had food allergies and there was no issue accommodating this. The food was amazing. I had the Cuban and a side of fries and it was one of the best I’ve had. Everyone’s good looked great and there were no complaints. They stop serving food around 8pm and shortly after there were a couple of bands playing a free show! There is also a mini record shop and a pinball arcade. It was a 10 out of 10 experience. With the bands playing it was loud, but that’s a no brainer. Also there was plenty of parking across the street making it super easy to get there. I’ll definitely be back!!! The food was super affordable as well. Two of us ate for under $35!! That’s without alcoholic drinks. Good job Deep Cuts!!! Medford for the WINNNN!!! 5 ⭐️

I came here because I wanted to try the Big Trouble In Little Boston burger, but unfortunately was told that that burger was only available at their other location, which is now closed. Hopefully it gets added to the menu at this new location because I would come back for that.Nevertheless, the sandwich that I did get (Deep Cuts Cuban) was solid. It was crunchy from the sandwich press, the protein was juicy, and there was a nice sourness from the mustard and pickles. I also got a side order of fries, which was surprisingly good. Very crispy. My only complaint is that I feel like it could have been cheaper for the portion size or at least included fries in the price. The inside is pretty spacious, but I also went at an odd hour. I imagine it would get much more crowded when there is a show playing.

Neat little record store meets yummy local deli and bar with impressive house-made seltzers and cocktails. Fun spot for a drink (and some pinball) or to catch a band or comedy show.
