Note that they have been able to take card payment for some time now, but I always like to bring cash here, knowing it is a small business.The donuts are all very good. Higher quality than the cheap stuff at Dunkin’. They do run out early, as they open at 5am most days and the early crowd definitely scoops them up before the work day. I also love to get a sausage, egg, & cheese on an English muffin. Additionally, they have good New England Coffee and are all in on the unique/sweet coffee drinks that you might get at Dunkin’ - they have unique flavors, and often mix things up by getting interesting new blends (for example, today I had a “coffee cake” unsweetened blend).The service is friendly - I’ve only ever interacted with three folks behind the counter, and I think that’s all of them - fairly small operation. Restaurant itself hasn’t changed on the inside for decades. Could at least use a little TLC on their speaker system (music tends to cut out every few seconds), but other than that it has exactly the right local charm. Figures, since on any given day at any given time you’re guaranteed to find locals sitting at the bar and having a chat.Demet’s is the best. You should stop by.

Wonderful hidden gem of a place. Has the nostalgia of an old diner. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious, eggs were cooked perfect and bacon was crispy. The best part was the bagel, toasted perfect, crispy outside and soft inside. The coffee was good, with plenty of flavors. The large was huge. Overall price was reasonable as well.The staff were so friendly and helpful and made you feel like a regular.

Loved the breakfast selection they got. I was in a hurry and meal was done in 2 mins. George offered the ciabatta delux sandwich with the hash browns inside with the custom mayo and it was so good. Highly recommended if you need a good pick me up. Thanks

Walked in to get a muffin at 5:30am. But that was impossible. The employee was more interested in entertaining the group of regulars with a conversation that went on while I waited patiently for over 3 minutes while she was chatting it up. She looked over at me and still didn’t come over to get my order. Obviously at that time people are usually on their way to work and not much time to spare. She clearly wasnt there to do her job so why would she respect peoples time.I WALKED OUT. this is unfortunately the type of service I notice and it’s frustrating. If I didn’t do my job I would get fired. This is something I hope the management will become aware of

This place is so delicious! We were visiting from Utah and while we were sitting eating our donuts, George brought us two free donuts and chatted for a bit. So kind and the food is incredible- definitely recommend!!
The donuts were absolutely delicious, but I'd come back just to talk to George again, nicest guy and made us guys from Utah all feel super welcome. If you're in the area, you need to make stopping here part of your plans!
