J & L catered a graduation party to feed about forty guests and, despite the less-than-desirable weather, they were incredibly professional and managed to stay out of the way in a small house when the party had to be moved mostly inside. The food was amazing, and John and all his staff were more like guests than hired staff due to their friendly and pleasant interactions. They cleaned everything including dishes and plates I had used that weren't their responsibility and left everything spotless. We're looking for an excuse to have another event so we can hire them again!

They gladly worked with us to build a passed and stationed hors d'oeuvres menu that reflected our backgrounds and even worked with local businesses to source some authentic cultural favorites. The food was delicious (I highly recommend tacos, the line was practically out the door!), the catering displays were coordinated and professional, the staff was expert, and John himself is a shining light of a human being. We cannot recommend J&L Catering highly enough! John truly went above and beyond to provide exceptional food, excellent advice, and positive energy for our wedding. He answered all of our questions promptly (even the email I sent in a panic at 5am the morning of our wedding), and he was so thoughtful during our wedding (including sending over a plate of the hors d'oeuvres for us during cocktail hour to make sure we ate). The entire staff was so friendly and helpful during our event - they made sure everything ran seamlessly. Absolutely recommend J&L Catering for any event!

John and Laurel catered my wife's 40th birthday party this weekend. They couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating to me over the past couple months as I changed head count numbers and told them the party might be cancelled due to COVID spikes. John even talked me into getting less food than I ordered which was great because we had many trays left over Food was amazing. Guests were raving about the Chicken Parm and stuffed mushrooms. Everything was great. We also got Eggplant Parm, Baked Ziti and Veggie Lasagna. All delicious. John took 15 minutes out of his packed schedule to drop off the food personally and go over heating instructions. I can't recommend highly enough. Support good people and local businesses. Whatever your needs are J&L will make your party/wedding perfectly fit to your needs.

We got married in Holliston on 08/18/18. It was such a pleasure to work with John throughout our wedding planning process and ESPECIALLY on the day of our wedding. We would recommend him as one of our top vendors. It is a very close tie in praise between how amazingly good the food was and how professional and prepared his team was. All of the guests enjoyed the meal, which given our last minute changes due to weather, was an amazing improvisation by John to get all of the food out timely and everything was delicious.Picking our menu and doing our tasting was one of the best parts of the planning process and John made it so easy. He had excellent suggestions and was willing to talk through all of our priorities and wants for our day. The final result was a beautifully presented meal that everyone raved about.His team worked so hard the day of our wedding, but multiple guests commented on the positivity and joy they brought to the venue. Like many brides, I began the tedious process of searching for a caterer for our upcoming wedding. I spoke to several catering companies that resided in the Boston area but their pricing for one night was far too expensive considering our wedding was going to span three full days for all guests. I continued to search for caterers and came across J&L Catering, which also happened to be local to me. Our first phone conversation went amazingly. John really understood my vision and was able to provide all the elements we needed for our three days (raw bar, carving station, and lobster bake). The pricing for all three days was fantastic. I was nervous that in order to meet such a great price, perhaps the food quality would be lacking. Boy was I wrong! We had our tasting of each of our three menus and everything was delicious, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My fiancé and I were blown away with how amazing the food tasted. We could not have been more pleased with the final outcome for our wedding weekend. Our guests haven’t stop talking about how great the food was. And besides taste and price, the last element you hope for is good customer service. John and his team have this in spades. Every time I had a question about the menu or what to rent for plates, etc.; I always received a prompt phone call or email with a reply.
