The Starbucks in Melrose has never messed up my order in the six years I’ve been visiting. Highly recommend ordering through the Starbucks mobile app as it’s the quickest way to get your order. My wife loves ordering tea from there while I’m pretty basic and order just a black hot coffee. You can never go wrong with their breakfast sandwiches.

I don't review things but this was just awful. Maybe I'm spoiled from mostly going to Starbucks in downtown Boston, but this was absolutely the slowest service ever. On top of that, I watched as my matcha latte shot out of the top of the blender. About half was left so they poured that into my cup and filled the rest with milk. I would've been fine waiting for it to be remade or even just taken what was left in the blender, but I wasn't even acknowledged. It tasted pretty much like nothing and the lid also didn't fit. I just threw it away because I was already later than I wanted to be after waiting. I could tell the staff were trying and the barista on cold bar kept panicking and it wasn't busy. Please either put more staff on to help them as they learn or help them learn to manage the line better. It's not fair to them because I'm sure they're yelled at all day. I can tell from the other reviews this is pretty common.

A big, big Thank you to Gabby and Ashley as they took care of me mostly, but to Cali as well towards the end of my experience.Hands down these ladies would be the reason I’d return to this Starbucks. Not only did they make my 6-7 hour stay memorable through their unwavering kindness, They handled Mayhem with class when 40 kids entered the building. I’m from Florida visiting family due to unfortunate circumstances, and these ladies made the brief stay so much less hectic. ??

There's a wide selection of breakfast sandwiches like egg mcmuffin and cheese croissants. I didn't like that tables and chairs were so scarce, it made it feel empty and echo. Nice mermaid art on wall

Easter Sunday and still fantastic service. The staff on duty were huddling, producing, and doing it with a great spirit. Now, My heart breaks when you get customers who are inpatient and expect their beverage before people who are already waiting, hence what I watched today. Also, a pre-order customer comes in and he grabs his order of 3 beverages. The lady with him helped herself to a good 20 of the jumbo frap straws and out the door they went. Come on people, we can do better than this.?Vegetarian options: Egg white veggie quiche is excellent.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for carriages and young children.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, straight in from sidewalk, no obstacles.

Nice employees...however service is always slow whether it's busy or not. Typically I don't order complicated items, so not really sure why I'm waiting almost 15 minutes. Not to mention, they often don't complete the entire order - I need to remind them that I'm still waiting on something.

Staff is always nice, even when it's very busy. I come here often to get breakfast and read. I wish there were more than two comfy chairs spots. The other chairs aren't as comfortable for long term sitting with my back problems

What I like most about this location is the attentive and friendly staff. They’re very professional and accommodating. Some staff have been here for many years, which is always a good sign for a business!

Pick-up area is now away from seating. Covid took care of that issue. The overall Starbucks interior makeover to open up the space I like, it just feels clinically cold. Not this locations fault, it's a direction the company is taking. At least you don't trip over chairs and strollers anymore, but it's not a place to comfortably hang out and drink coffee (maybe this is on purpose?) Orders are usually correct. Just wish they would select when the order is ready in the mobile app. I live so close I don't head over until I'm notified since there's usually a big looming crowd in the morning.

I wish I could say this is the first time the Melrose Starbucks has taken a ridiculously long time to fill my order, but it's become a pattern and I will never order from this location again. 25 minutes to make a Frappuccino?? Ridiculous. And while we sat there waiting and waiting I saw at least three drink orders have to be redone because they weren't what the customer had ordered. Maybe the prep time would be more reasonable if people made the drinks correct the first time. The store manager needs to do some soul searching and figure out a better way to run the store. We certainly won't be returning.
