Excellent budget aquarium. Highly recommended walking by and gawking at the lobster tank. If seafood is your thing, I hear it is delightful. Not really mine but their non seafood stuff is very nice and drinks are A+. Treat yourself.

Fish and chips heavy and greasy the mussels were superb — service in off hour good and manager visited and they comped the dish. Worth maybe another try.Music too loud to carry on a conversation but nice decor

Great gem of a seafood place in Melrose. The fried seafood medley was.just what the doctor ordered. Very good clam chowder.
I had the seafood chowder. The chef makes it right in front of you. It was a fantastic milk chowder. I’m going back soon!

This place never disappoints - the food is delicious and the drinks are amazing (Melrose location--Salem is just ok, to me)! This is my second review, and it has gotten better. I kept it simple and ordered the tuna "nachos", they're so delicious with the wasabi aioli and the NE Haddock Dinner. I had no complaints. If you like a good meal,--it isn't cheap (in quality and price)--and you're in the mood for seafood, then head over to Turner's!! ...in Melrose.

I regret to report it’s very subpar food. The staff were very nice, and I won’t call them out at all. Pleasant and courteous throughout. But the seafood was criminally bland. We had a clam roll and one of their haddock entries. The former was mushy and seemed to be made out of chopped clams, and the latter was an under $10 value item we could have made at home but we'd never have made it so unappealing and dull. The wait time was also crazy long, but I could see they were a bit in the weeds. Overall, I would have just stayed hungry and found a late night pizza,

Me and my Mother sat in for dinner on February 8th, The restaurant was nearly packed but we were seated on the west side of the restaurant in a quiet spotOur Waitress, Peggy, from the get go acted like our presence was an inconvenience to herI ordered Clams Fra Diavolo ((its basically the Mussels and Calamari Fra Diavolo on the menu except with clams))She gave me attitude insisting she could not substitute anything in my mealMy mom ordered the clam chowder as an appetizer, it was loaded with Pepper so she sent it back after waiting 15 minutes for Peggy to acknowledge us even when we were trying to get her attentionbesides that the food was great, However, when it came time to receive the bill, she came over to us with a handheld bill deviceStood over me as I was paying the bill and she made sure to say “ Make sure you tip me a good tip”We felt extremely pressured into tipping her, So we tipped her 18% (($23.87))Then she dropped my credit card back onto the table and walked awayMe and my family have been coming to Turners for many years and this is the second time within six months we’ve had a problem with this waitress
