Coming up from Brooklyn to visit family, I stopped in to get some Greek salads. And to see why they have 4.5 stars... Salad was nice with PLENTY of those deliciously briny kalamata olives...I also left with escarole soup, and Italian icees as well. As cliche as it sounds, the soup tasted homemade, like my grandma's...really tasted so good and hearty...A proper chicken tasting soup... Hard to explain nowadays that most things are processed... Must try it...Came back for the pizza and my son loved it. Basically it's two slices... Big!... Great cheessines and crust. The tirramisu was light and just right... Also had a turkey and ham and cheese sub... It was big! And tasty...We passed by a few times visiting, but so glad we didn't this time... I used to buy baseball cards here when I was ten years old when it was Matt's... Times have changed... Thankfully in a tasty way! Staff is very friendly as well... I wish I could take this place back to Brooklyn with us...

I got the chicken cutlet subs and I have to say it was very good, they didn't use chicken fingers and sauce like alot of sub places do, there cutlets are home made and I really enjoyed there sandwich and there very big, I will get 2 lunches out of

Holly Meatball Sandwich Batman, this place is awesome. I was shopping nearby and searched for a sandwich shop so I could take lunch back to the hotel. The stellar yelp reviews got my attention. This place totally exceeded my expectations when i walked in the door. The hardest part was deciding on what sandwich to order. I got the Meatball Parm, and it was excellent. If i lived nearby I would be eating here all the time. Hand made pizza dough, the pizzas looked excellent. They also have To-to meals in the cooler like chicken parm, beef stroganoff, pasta & sauce that you can grab and take home for dinner. Also an Italian bakery with cookies and other yummy delights. Screw the franchise sandwich shops, come to LoConte's.

Went here because of yelp reviews and it surpassed every hope. Food was amazing!! Had the Italian sub. Cold cuts were fresh. Sandwich was stuffed. Bread was great I just enough crunchy crust with soft interior. Small was the equivalent in length to most places large - 12inches? Hubby had the pizza. Pepperoni and sausage - real Italian sausage. Ratio of toppings and cheese was perfect and the crust was amazing. In honesty the outside of the place is nothing great almost dive like but don't let that discourage you. Would have loved to have tried the desserts as they looked great but I was too full!!

foods good pizza is good. pizza tends to have a strong egg yolk flavor on the crust ,throws it off. Ideal place for subs and great bread for subs its not a soft grocery store commercial bread. serves alot of fries with burger. if you dont mind paying a little extra for burgers id get them than any drive thru spot. Cant tell if they serve other unique items that arent on the menu but have pictures of them, dont know how that works.

I love this place, everything is always fresh and they are having more variety of food not to mention the cake's mmm. Also they are all friendly and willing to make your food the way you want it. I haven't been disappointed yet. The prices beat most of the other places & the quantity of the meals and sandwiches are loaded. The really cool thing I found, is that a real chef when cooking doesn't add a lot of spices and salt. It's left up to you if you want your taste buds to be either more spicy or not. I recommend going there and trying it out. I'm most certain that you will be back for more. One more thing, they make a fantastic sub. Two sizes one is the small but it's pretty big. The other they call the torpedo or large sub. It's like carrying a rocket launcher lol. Loaded up with what ever you want for toppings and no charge. Well at least I've never seen it added to my bill. Enjoy! ?
