Horrible food. Dry no flavor. Do not go. Save your money. Makes sense no one was there. Couldn't even speak English.

Any order which contained chicken was super dry. We order the Chicken Skewers, Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tsos Chicken. All 3 were super dry. The dumplings were worse than any frozen dinner brands. Don’t waste your time nor money on this dump. How this place receive anything above a 2 stars is total BS. They must’ve had family and friends place fake reviews.

Worse Chinese restaurant in the Bronx. They Don’t deliver and don’t take credit card. The chef is smoking outside in front of customers. Avoid at all cost!!!

Pleasantly surprised. Will certainly go back. Next time I will be trying the pan fried dumplings as these are the test.

One and only best chinese restaurant in the Nantucket

This place is an absolute SCAM. Do not eat here unless you want to support a place that blatantly overcharges you for sub par food simply because they can. This is definitely one of those establishments who "rests on it's laurels" simply because it is one of the very few options for Chinese food in the area and on the AckEats website. I ordered the General Tsao's Scallops (over $20) and the "Real" Crab Rangoons ($9). Being that we're in Nantucket, you would think that both of those items contain better than average, abundant amounts of fresh delicious seafood, right? Wrong. The "Real" Crab Rangoons had BARELY any crab and an overwhelming amount of cream cheese. The sauce that came with it, were simply the cheap plum sauce packets that you can find in virtually any Chinese restaurant. THAT'S what you'll pay almost $10 for. Lazy and pathetic. Pei Wei charges HALF of what these guys charge, and Pei Wei's Rangoons are LOADED with crab meat AND come with a proper sauce. No excuse. The "Scallops" were even worse. They weren't even WHOLE scallops! They were balls of CHEAP fried dough, which if you broke them open, had TRACE amounts of scallop BITS in them. If I'm paying over $20 for a scallop dish, then WHOLE scallops are what I should get period. Not to mention, the white rice that came with the "scallops" was gummy, clumpy and totally overcooked. By far and away one of the biggest wastes of money I have spent on this island. I have NO respect for businesses who enrich themselves by providing a clearly inferior product at an obscenely inflated price. Either lower the prices or improve the product, which I'm fairly certain they will do neither. Again, absolute scam. This place is slyly laughing behind it's patrons backs, whom they are out right robbing, all the way to the bank. They should be totally ashamed, but in all likelyhood they probably aren't. Eat here at your own risk and be informed about what you are supporting, because I personally would never give this place another dime of my hard earned money. Utterly disgraceful.

Don't put your foot in this place, terrible costumer service, rats in the kitchen. Hostel level food.

I had pretty low standards for chinese food in Nantucket, but I wanted to give Dragon By The Sea a try. I would say it was fine. I thought it was going to be better than what I received. Calling it a restaurant is not valid since it is based in the back of a convenient store which would have been useful information to know ahead of time. I'm still excited to try to find a great Chinese place on the island. If you want to try DBTS, I'd recommend the egg rolls - they were the best thing I ordered. I probably will not order from here again.

Service is a joke but the food is good. Jalapeno Chicken is outstanding if you don't mind a little bit of heat

Love this small cute little dinner. I've been coming here for many years. You get what you pay for. It's not a fancy place, it's a small quaint diner with good diner food. I grew walking here with my grandfather to grab the New York Times every morning. If I was lucky we'd be able to get lunch. Everyone is very kind and the place is kept clean.

We weren't sure how good the Chinese food would be here on Nantucket , but Dragon by the Sea was a great find. Easily some of the best Chinese food we have had in a long time. Good quality and great taste. The egg rolls and Lo mein were excellent.

I have no idea why this place has only two stars. I've read the reviews - I am a complete germaphobe and felt that this place was very, very clean! If you are looking for an affordable and quick meal with a group of people that wants a variety of choices, this is the perfect spot. Great prices, lots of awesome diner choices for breakfast... and you can also get pizza and Chinese food! Also can't beat the prices here. We truly had a perfect meal here. Some of us got eggs, others Chinese food, etc. I would absolutely return.

The food was as expected--greasy with a limited menu of generic strip mall pizza shop items. The service was so atrocious that I had to yell back into the kitchen to find someone, first to get a beverage, and again to get the check. This is after sitting for interminable periods trying to be patient and polite. This is a place to avoid for a sit down meal. Takeout might be ok if nothing else is available.
