I stumbled upon this place after a neighboring restaurant's menu didn't really pique my interest and I'm glad I did!We ordered a clam chowder, fish fillet sandwich and crab cakes to share and ate out on a bench by the marina. It was only $38 which is insanely reasonable considering it's super fresh, andddd Nantucket! The clam chowder, wow, it was so good, I wish I had more now. It was creamy without being heavy, and had really nice size chunks of clam, potatoes, etc. Color me surprised, for $7.95 I was expecting one of those little cups given the prices I saw elsewhere, but it was actually a cardboard takeout container about 5" tall. Not to mention, the gentlemen working was such a gem. I was waiting outside with the soup (and my dog) while the rest was being prepared and when it was ready he kindly gave us a second soup gratis saying he felt bad because the first one was the bottom of the pot. The fish fillet sandwich was very light, not too heavy as we all know they can be. It came with a nice side of coleslaw and tartar sauce. The crab cakes were also very tasty, tender crab shredded without to much "filling" that we know some places are guilty of adding in to thin out the amount of crab used. It also came with a nice cajun/chipotle mayo that was very complimentary. Both entrees came with a bag of chips we ended up taking home (with the extra soup).

Simple, perfectly executed seafood sandwiches. Incredibly warm and friendly staff. Astonishing harbor views. Not exaggerating when I say this is one of the most unique and satisfying places I've ever had the pleasure to dine at.

Good selection of fish. Can be pricey but worth it. Try the bluefish when on island.

Truly one of the best fish sandwiches I have ever had! Perfectly seasoned without a lot of fuss. Definitely recommend a visit.

Great food. But extremely rude to us when eating on tables admittedly posted for people who have purchased food at their establishment. Our brother and sister-in- law sat down with us to enjoy our company while eating a sandwich from Provisions. Also all other tables were empty.

Right on Straight Wharf but hidden behind the Straight Wharf Restaurant and a sandwich shop is this wonderful Fish Store with the best Lobster Rolls anywhere and a Swordfish Sandwich you might just come back for every day. I visit Nantucket every year and all I think about when getting off the Ferry is going there for lunch as soon as we dock. If they were open for dinner would not eat anywhere else and if I had a kitchen in my room would be buying their fish to cook for dinner too. Lobster roll is not cheap, but when you see the size and taste the fresh lobster you wont even remember the price. No seating in the store but picnic tables out back on the wharf. Nothing more you need.

I came for lunch the other day and split a salad and fish tacos with my mom. Both items were really good. I loved the salad, it was huge. The fish tacos weren't too fried or bready and the beans were really tasty. The place itself was very cute, we sat outside and it was nice. But service was really slow which is why the rating is 4 instead of 5. We waited too long for everything which was unfortunate because it was perfect otherwise. I will say that everyone was kind though.

My favorite place to dine in the ACK! Reservations are strongly recommended by the establishment, but I would not go without one. I have friends that were told they needed to make their reservation one month in advance during peak season, and they were unfortunately turned away. You can choose to dine inside or you can enjoy your meal al fresco. I recommend the latter, as the views are absolutely spectacular. It is so amazing to bask in the ambiance of Nantucket, and take in the stunning view of the harbor in all its glory. The beautiful environment truly enhances your dining experience. We were seated by a friendly young lady, who suited her position perfectly, with a welcoming demeanor and a big smile. Our waiter was excellent. He brought out our water, customary fresh baked bread and bluefish pate almost immediately. Their bread is so delicious and is like a meal unto itself. The pate is not fishy at all. Absolutely delicious! They have an extensive wine menu, and there is a sommelier at the ready. The cocktails are made perfectly, and they are willing to create any drink you request. Seafood is the main draw here, but the chicken under a brick is fabulous as well. The steak is served on a bed of greens and is also quite good. The fish is fresh and caught locally, as per our knowledgeable waiter. The dessert menu has an ample selection, and the end of your meal will be just as lovely as the start. The bartender was very personable and highly accommodating. He made us laugh and he definitely enhanced the overall experience. The restroom was spotless, and well stocked with handsoap as well as paper goods. Be prepared to wait a few minutes to get a drink or in between courses, especially during peak season. Be patient, and rest assured the staff are doing their absolute best. Good things come to those who wait, and the wait is not exorbitant. Overall, this is a great place to go for a nice meal with an excellent welcoming atmosphere. Great to visit if you're traveling by boat. We had an outstanding time, and we will return!

Let me just start by saying I wish I could give this establishment ZERO STARS. The bouncers they hire are 18 year old entitled little dinks who let their friends, or girls that they find attractive into the bar first. I was waiting in line last night behind a group of girls, and they let the biggest Chad I've ever seen in my life just cut the whole line. Funny thing is the bouncer did not care at all, the line was held up for about 20 minutes due to the bouncer making conversation with the group of girls. There was a good amount of people behind me also fed up to the point where they just left before getting in, I will NEVER give this place business again. Oh and I forgot to mention that this bar absolutely scams you by having a 20$ minimum for drinks. Absolutely pathetic excuse of a bar, and the crowd is the worst on island. Hire some people who actually do their damn job!
