Horrible customer service. We placed an online order and arrived to pick it up when they said it was ready. Immediately upon entering, the woman at the counter frantically started telling us they were closed, even though their website said they closed at 3:00pm and there was an “open” sign hung on their door (we arrived around 2:15/2:30pm).We explained that their website said they were and that they seem to have accepted our online order. She then referenced our order by name, and said that it was never accepted and we should have received a cancellation notification (which we did not).We tried explaining that we never received a cancelation message, and she then began insisting that she never received the order (which was a lie as she had just referenced our order by name). As soon as we left, she proceeded to cancel the order and we received a notification. The Green consistently has poor customer service and mediocre food, all while continuing to charge exorbitant prices. While high prices are the norm for Nantucket, The Green’s poor treatment of their own customers makes it officially not worth visiting. Alternatively, Something Natural, Walter’s, and Bartlett’s Farm are all good options for lunch on Nantucket.

Work brings me to Nantucket often and The Green was always a great mid-island spot for a healthy breakfast or lunch. However, 2023 has not been kind to this business. I don't know what's happened but the food quality has nose-dived while the prices continue to sky-rocket. Dropped by recently - zero cars in the parking lot at 12:30PM - and ordered 4 items to-go for a total of $68. As I sat inside waiting for the order, I scanned the restaurant's interior and was kinda horrified to see the amount of filth on the floor along with the scuffed walls and banged up trim. To top it off, when I returned with our food not only was one item missing but the overall consensus was bland and simply, "not worth the money." For now, The Green is off my list. Hopefully 2024 will bring back quality food and perhaps a coat of paint, or two?

I stopped by for an OJ, but they were out of oranges. I was about to order something else when I saw the cook in the back PICKING HIS NOSE. Absolutely not. I booked it out of there thankfully before I wasted any money.

This place has gone way down hill. The kitchen is completely unsanitary not to mention the cooler. The owner Jenny is extremely unfriendly and unpredictable save you money and your health don't eat there.

Menu looked good. Service was just okay. Didn't serve smoothies at the time they opened, so don't plan on having one in the morning.

It changed hands this year and the food is no where near as good as it used to be. The gluten free coffee cake and muffins were delicious last year...today I just threw out the piece of coffee cake I bought because it was so dry and didn't have all the brown sugar and cinnamon and nut goodness that it used to have.

Called in order. When I arrived there was just one other customer being taken care of. Counter person never acknowledged me or even look at me. After waiting 10 minutes she moved over to next register and took care of another customer that was behind me, still no acknowledgment. When I said I was next she responded I didn't know because we don't use that register, the one she just used on man before me. Then she started being even more rude! As a local here I'm never coming back or will I refer people to The Green

Delicious "plant eater" wrap that would be great for a picnic. An amazing vegan brownie as well.

Food was prepared quickly with fresh ingredients. The Roost was a good sized portion with good flavor. The vegan wrap was a large mix of veggies and hummus. Slightly lackluster in regards to flavor, needed something to upgrade it from a salad wrap. The soup was hot with lots of vegetables. An average lunch, slightly pricey, but that is the way it is at this point in time.

do not go to this place they will ignore you all the time, I went this morning for a smoothie and the girl in the front ignored me all the time and spoke to me in a very ugly way. If you are going to have a business try to look for good customer service too, this place is garbage.

Worst customer service and mediocre food at best! The food is slopped together and overpriced. They got my order wrong twice in a row. Nobody makes an effort to provide good service. Will never come here again!

We stop in here over the summer for the fresh salads and to get our celery juice fix. The green mean taco wrap is another fave.
