Minado used to be my favorite all you can eat buffet. $35 per person. I’m disappointed that they don’t have raw oysters and crab legs anymore.Food quality went down and they don’t have desserts and fruits sections anymore. All they have is sushi and hot food now.

I am glad to have met Lin here. She is really great, and she can also speak Chinese. Her service is warm and efficient, and she can always take care of customers' dining tables and needs. Thank you so much her. She is one of the most efficient and friendly employees

Buffet has wide selection of food. Hot food is quite good; sushi is mid. Come hungry, and you’ll eat enough for the price.

My partner and I went here for the first time for lunch. We understand that buffet style resturants are not always the best but we had high expectations here. We went close to opening as someone who does not eat sea food I gravitated towards the hot foods. Every single thing I chose was cold. First plate I got - the chicken wings were cold and soggy but somehow had a burnt taste to them. The lomein was cold. The dumplings were inedible bc they were so cold. I ended up leaving everything on my plate and tried for a second plate with all different foods. I played it safe with getting the white rice - which was warm but was hard. I got the ramen - the noodles were so soggy since they sat in the hot water for too long. I tried a skewer that was fresh off the grill - as soon as I went back to my table it was cold lol. The only thing that was sorta of good were the beef short ribs that were made on the grill but even those the meat was so tough, I had to spit it in my napkin from chewing it for so long (but the flavor was great). they only had 2 dessert options: crepes and soft serve. the crepe tasted odd, the chocolate was watery, and it seems they use strawberry preserves over fresh which made everything mushy. the green tea soft serve was good. Another positive was the friendly staff in the seating area but the staff behind the counter look like they hate being there and will stare at you while you are waiting for things like crepes or the ramen. I would not go here again unfortunately.

Avoid wasting your money here. “Hot” food was not good. Emphasis on “hot” because none of it was. Everything was super cold. The crepes were not good and filled with artificial fruit. Meat was super tough & the chicken was soggy. Had a ramen option that included noodles left in hot water for too long causing them to be super soggy. Sushi buffet had some tasty options but was not the best and the raw fish did not taste fresh at all. The only good thing I can say is the soft serve ice cream was good and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Would not return.

The interior looks identical to its now- closed Long Island restaurant, except that the sushi and hot food sections are reversed. The variety was definitely more limited than the NY location, lacking uni, salmon roe, and a myriad of other seafood that it used to have. On the bright side, however, the fish was super fresh and hot foods or salty.

I want to start by saying I used to LOVE Minados, I would eat there with friends at least 1-2x a month. However, In the last 2 years we've only gone 3x due to the significant loss of quality and variety of food, and no reduction in price. Dessert options are now limited to soft serve ice cream, when in the past they also had cakes, cookies and fruit as options. The hot food and salads are also limited in variety and quality. The cost of the evening meal used to include snow crab legs and various seafood, but that's gone. Salad options also used include a Thai pasta and other interesting recipes, now it's far more basic and uninspired.I went back tonight at 5:00 and it was disappointed again. The entrees that were out at 5 were clearly reheated from lunch service. The beef was inedible, no one at our table could chew it. The fried foods were tough with burnt edges. The chicken wings were oddly soggy and the seafood was chewy. All the food felt reheated. For the sushi, my favorite rolls were out the 2x I went up to look at them. With the long lines and slow restocking, poor food quality and pricy cost I don't see myself going back anytime soon.

Food was ok, but the waitress was rude. She didn't care for my table that much, and she forced me to increase the tip when what I gave was not high enough.

Huge, clean restaurant with a ton of sushi selections, Hibachi, seafood and some Asian dishes. I found the sushi to be really good. I also enjoyed most of the seafood offerings. A few different crab selections. The fried soft shell crab was delicious. A few really good shrimp dishes. One of the fried shrimp still had its shell on. Teriyaki chicken was good. They also had fried smells that were delicious. Dessert offerings changed since the last time I was there. Green tea ice cream was really good. We got there 20 minutes before they opened. We were able to go inside and they have a waiting area. The restaurant filled really fast once they opened. Our waiter was great. Overall a good experience. Kids 12 and under get charged less.

Love this place though it's gotten bit expensive for us. Used to go for lunch which was more reasonable but they don't have lunch most days anymore, which I understand. Very fresh food and delicious. Many veggie options which I appreciate.

Still one of the best sushi places. No more oysters or king crab after COVID but the quality and choices are still excellent.

The owners are very out of touch with discrimination. I am a senior citizen who can’t drive after dark. Used to go to lunch at Minado once a week. Now I haven’t gone since they are closed for lunch. I hope the few pleasures life has to offer to seniors is taken away from these thoughtless owners.Very disappointing that owners make it impossible to be contacted. Small changes would make it possible for seniors and high risk customers to continue enjoying the great food Minado offers. As a customer who has faithfully patronized Minado since it opened, I am disgusted with the lack of appreciation for my loyalty for so many years.

I love buffets and especially ones that have a great selection of food. Even if you are not a sushi lover there's plenty more options for you to eat. The tempura steak and soup stations are worth it alone. The sushi is also very good and there are many varieties to choose from. I love that they now offer sashimi for those who do not want rice. It is a little pricey but worth it every once in a while.
