I’m live on the north shore and finally made it down to Capella. Shame on me for waiting so long. It was worth the drive! If you don’t like driving but are ever in the area, make it a point to stop in. If you live in that area and haven’t been.. GO! The rigatoni with vodka sauce is fantastic and the Chicken parm is one of the best. I can’t wait to go back and try the lobster fusilli dish. The owner/chef Rob is on the floor in the kitchen at all times overseeing each order. His team and staff are top notch. Highly recommend!

My first time at Cappella and I really liked it! The restaurant and bar were both busy and vibrant. My Manhattan was a perfect start to the meal. The meatball appetizer was yummy. The Gem Salad (like. Caesar) was delicious. My Tagliatelle Bolognese was great. I tried the Branzino, Salmon and Chicken Parm and they were all delicious. Great Italian spot in restaurant Rich Needham.
Last night was our first time at Capella. It was packed and lively. We did have to wait a bit too long to be seated but the food was worth the wait. The meatball appetizer was a perfect was to begin. The gem salad had anchovies which I loved. The chicken parm was delicious. The salmon was grilled and just how I like it. My friend the the bronzino which he enjoyed. Two others had the bolognese which they both loved! So we will certainly be back!!
Served reheated 8oz Wood Grilled Salmon. Not cool. In fairness, they removed it from my bill. By why though? Why served me a reheated salmon? I know the difference between fresh grilled/baked salmon and reheated cooked salmon. For that, you get 1 star for food.
Capella is one of the more upscale of Needham's offerings. They keep a modern Italian menu, with a nice wine selection. Keep watch for their rotating selections of appetizers, which are often fantastic.
