Delicious on every level and lovely waitstaff, but sadly now closed. Needham will miss the food and their community.

Really happy to find Latina, the food was really unique and delicious, truly a great find! Service was on point too, and the live band on a Thursday night? Cocktails were simple twists on classics but perfectly balanced. Everyone in my family was happy! Give them some love, they deserve it (and so do you!) ?

Found this jewel by chance on a Thursday night when they had live music. The place is nicely setup with tons of bar sitting area around the open kitchen. These setups always make me feel so much comfortable that the food is being prepared cleanly. At the end of the night, I could see how well the scrubbed everything down. The floors got tons of soap and looked super clean when done. The food was delicious. Venezuelan dishes that I hadn't tried before, specially the thin sweet pancakes with a yummy mozzarella in between.I'll return to try the rest soon

I was so excited to eat at this restaurant, but thanks to the extremely rude manager, I will never go back. My friend spoke up about the 20 minute delay on her meal, but later the manager came over to us and essentially told us that he "didn't want to do anything to help us." We were stunned! I've never experienced anything like this before.I never said one word about anything so I'm not sure how you can insult me. First, the two kid's meals arrived. Then one salad. Then another salad. Then my salmon. Then, after asking three times, my friend's chicken. She sat there for a long time while everyone else had their food. The food was great, but the manager is a horrible, rude person. I see other reviews on yelp about the manager being rude, so it's certainly not just us. If you reply rudely again, I will contact the Better Business Bureau.

The light in the dining area and the decorations add to the flare of this Needham gem. The bartender shared with me the correct way to order a drink I have asked for for years. We had sides to start, each one was the best rendition you could hope for, beef empanadas, veggies. Highly recommended

Great food, however overpriced for what it is. 5 tequenos for 14 dollars seem excessive, so does 2 empanadas for 17.00, when you can get the same empanada elsewere for 2,3 dollars each. We felt the service and atmosphere were good but everyone left unhappy with the pricing of the dishes, plus they dont have a lot of options, very limited!

We came here the first Friday of dine out Boston. We were seated right away in a spacious corner booth. Our server was excellent and knew the menu very well. She recommended a great red wine to go with my meal, and my boyfriend really enjoyed the beer that she recommended for him.We started off with the meat and cheese empanadas Wittchen look simple were very delicious and flavorful. My boyfriend got the seafood dish and I got a bacon wrapped whitefish. I think mine was the better option though. Both were delicious. We finished off with the quesillo for dessert, which was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back here for another date night.

Latina Kitchen & Bar has been on my 'to visit' list for months, and I finally made it happen. When I walked in, the place was fairly empty, and I was greeted by a guy who was kind and gave me seating options; I chose the bar. Upon walking up to the bar, the bartender/server stared me down and when I said, "hello!" he didn't respond. Not my preferred interaction given he would be the person that takes my order, but okay. Benefit of the doubt was given. I sat down and he approached me with no words and looked at me as if he wanted me to immediately tell him what I wanted without looking at the menu. Hmm. I let him know that I needed time to decide and once I did, I place an order for a drink pineapple something (wasn't good and lacked flavor except the Bacardi), cheese board (appreciated the cheese options and tasty jam), rotisserie chicken with mashed sweet potatoes (didn't consume it all due to preparation of the meat and watery substance meshing with items on the plate). Of my entire experience, the server checked in once. By that point, I was nearly finished. The restaurant overall seemed homey, which I like and gets a lot of natural light, depending on where you sit. As for returning. . . I am on the fence.

The shrimp and lobster ceviche was dressed and seasoned perfectly! Absolutely delicious! Cadillac margarita, plantain chips and yucca fries were spot on. Highly recommend, will definitely be back!

Drinks were good. Appetizers and main course were good. There was significant confusion because the paper menus provided were in several instances out of date. Lots of unnecessary digging out cell phones and hassling with QR codes. I wouldn't think it would be that challenging to have up to date physical menus.

My colleagues and I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The service was great, the food was wonderful. And then at 2 hours mark we were rushed to leave because they overbooked and needed our table to accommodate for another party of 4.So we paid our $500 bill and got up to finish our wine while standing and watching the table being cleaned up in the rush. When I mentioned this to the manager, his response was "I'm sorry".I get that business is good after Covid is over but it's not a good practice rushing out of your customers because you overbooked. That leaves a pretty bad taste in the mouth.Luckily there are quite a few other options in the area to visit.Best of luck to the owners! If you want to look up the transactions, it's Check#18, Table 21.Update: after a careful and thoughtful response from the ownership of this wonderful establishment, we will make sure to take our business elsewhere next time we go out dining with our company. All the best to your new and thriving business! We will make sure to share feedback on this with everyone who asks for dining options in the Needham area. The Farmhouse, The James and Cappella Restaurants while taking reservations through the same web service, do seem to appreciate the importance of customer service. Thank you again for your response.

I had a terrible experience with this restaurant during my recent visit. I called to place an order for pickup as I was traveling from Connecticut to visit friends in Boston. Specifically, I inquired about their "Tequeños" and was told they were available. When placing the order, I requested 10 tequeños, to which the person on the phone informed me they only had 9. I agreed to that and also ordered 6 empanadas and a quesillo. However, upon picking up the order, I was in a hurry and didn't thoroughly check it, assuming they had prepared it correctly. After driving another 45 minutes to my friends house, and opening my order, It turned out they had miscommunicated the quantities to me. "One tequeño" meant an order of 5, and "one empanada" meant an order of 2. Unfortunately, this was not clarified during the phone conversation, nor did they communicate the price to me at all. They charged my card without telling me how much it would cost.Later, when reviewing my charges, I noticed two transactions totaling $121.98. Although I found it to be an unusually high amount for tequeños and empanadas, I thought "I guess they charged us for more than we ordered", I brushed it off. But days later, I discovered another charge of $147.66 in my bank account. Believing it to be a mistake, I called the restaurant to address the issue. The person I spoke to, Antonio, was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Instead of taking responsibility for the miscommunication, he defensively blamed me for not reading the menu. I explained that as a customer, it was their duty to provide all necessary information during the phone call. Shockingly, Antonio D. had the audacity to claim he was too busy to assist me and abruptly hung up while I was still speaking. To summarize, I caution anyone ordering from this restaurant to be extremely vigilant when placing an order over the phone. It is crucial to ask for clarification on every single item to avoid misunderstandings and being taken advantage of.
