My family has been dining there for 30+ years. When I went on Tuesday and ordered a cup of tea they brought me a cup of hot water and a tea bag. When I requested another cup of tea the waitress refilled my cup with hot water (no tea bag). When I requested a pot of tea I was told they no longer use pots only individual cups. I don't think I'll be going back.

Place is same as it was 30 years ago. Good average Chinese food. One of the good ones left in newton and needham that you don't get ripped off. Food is not fancy and in today's world good prices.Went for lunch today. Lunch specials from $11.50 to $14.

What can I say? The food has been consistent for decades. Consistently cooked, consistently mixed, consistently delicious. I am a huge fan of their chicken fingers appetizer, which are slices of lightly dusted chicken, not the awful thumbs of wet dough with a sliver of chicken inside. The honey glazed chicken is divine. Yum. This just may be my favorite place for this range of food.

That’s the entire charm.American Chinese staples (which honestly are more American than hamburgers at this point) served in a chill and kitschy but clean atmosphere. I actually really like the vibe.The food is the expected mix of sweet/spicy/sour that you’d expect - but thankfully not over-fried or all vegetable filler.I came for a quiet lunch but defintely would be great for a family dinner. This is really the kind of east coast Chinese restaurant I miss living out West. We’ve got nothing like it and it’s a shame.The food was flavorful and the service was quick and friendly. Total recommend.Kid-friendliness: Chicken fingers are a central feature - for the picky kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is a wheelchair ramp.

Stayed at the local hotel and Mandarin Cusine was recommended and did not disappoint! I got the Kung Pao chicken and spring roll. Rice was good, sticky. Recommend!!!!
