Bacon, lettuce, tomato sub is excellent. Ask for extra crispy bacon. You won't be disappointed.

Always excellent subs, best around. I go about once a week and very good bread and meats. The folks are nice and the food is ready when they say.

This place used to be good when the woman owner was around every day. Now it’s horrible. Their signature sandwich the “Ed Panella” which is an Italian with prosciutto is HORRENDOUS. The cold cuts are sliced thick including the “GD” prosciutto, which specifically needs to be sliced thin, which is common knowledge. It’s like trying to bite through shoe leather. So after several bad sandwiches I asked if he could slice the meat thin. He informed me it was all PRE SLICED, it’s all in a big disgusting Tupperware. STOP CUTTING CORNERS AND MAYBE YOUR CUSTOMERS WILL COME BACK, IF YOUR LUCKY. Also just about any day of the week at around noon the place is usually empty, what does that tell you?

Unfortunately this place has gone way way way down hill. Had to stop going to this place due to the poor quality. Went to a well known sandwich shop in Wellesley instead.

I think they gave up. Quality control is gone. They just rush out every sandwich, like every other lousy sub shop.

I was actually not happy my mother picked this place, but presently surprised. Food was actually perfectly presented, and tasted fantastic! This location won me back!

Best steak and cheese I’ve had in a long time. I’m serious about steak and cheeses. This is it.

A coworker and I both ordered the same sandwich last week. When we unwrapped them back at the office, they were made incorrectly and missing a key ingredient. We called, and we were told we could either come back for new sandwiches or we could have a credit for two free sandwiches next time we are in. We took the credit. Well, we are right next door so today we called to get the free sandwiches, and a VERY rude guy answered the phone. He said he would never honor that and whoever told us we could have a credit would be spoken to. He wouldn't honor it. The food is decent but overpriced, and the location is convenient, so we've given them a fair amount of business. But he was so rude and belligerent, we won't be back again.

Great place and tasty food. Awesome and friendly customer service. We stopped here on the way and it's a quiet neighborhood. Little pricey but affordable. Coffee and their breakfast was Great ☺️☺️☺️. Will visit again

Panellas provided some of my fondest childhood memories in the '60s'..On the weekends, my father would give my mother an occasional break from making the usual big family dinner for 8.. We'd pile in the car and head for Panellas to get cold cuts and Italian bread.. We'd make the BEST subs, accompanied by my mother's signature potato salad and tomatoes in oil.. It was very special.. Thank you, Panellas.

Went out of my way to try this well reviewed deli. They decided to close 15 minutes before their posted hours. Thanks.

I love this place for sandwiches/subs. We used to go regularly as it's right around the corner from our old office, but haven't been much since we moved across town. We went today and were not disappointed. The food is high quality and always fresh.
