Recently opened. Very long wait but totally understand. Great vibe lots of TVs. Gonna give it to you straight and not sugar coat. Beer selection is great. How many places have Kona big wave on tap? Common room does! Burgers are good. Friends have told me me salads aren't great. Avoid the pizza. It's terrible hard dough with sauce from a can. Takes up a ton of room on the menu and is awful. I want to try the wings next as I hear those are decent. All in all come here for the drinks,burgers and apps. Probably not a dinner destination, at least not yet. Staff is great, all the wait and bar staff are awesome. I truly hope they can up level their food.

Fun vibe, our waiter Charlie was great and the food was delicious (wings for an app, perfect portion to share w/the table) turkey tips were excellent (& enough for lunch today too!) Prices reasonable & great beer/drink selection. We'll be back!

Great food and cold beers await. The onion rings, chicken wings, and corned beef and cabbage were all cooked extremely well. The food can't be beat for a pub like this. The service was friendly but a bit green, they have the right people but just need time to tighten up the service details. I will be back.

Our recent outing to “The Common Room” in Needham, MA, was a fantastic and fun change of scenery. This new spot provided a lively and welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect place for a casual, enjoyable date night with my wife.The lemon pepper wings were a hit right from the start, crispy and zesty, setting a great tone for the meal. Me and my Buddy like to take our wives out for dinner every Friday night. It’s been routine for many years. When we see new restaurants opening up it’s nice to check them out and enjoy a few laughs with dinner and drinks. We heard about this new place in Needham that was opening so, off we went. We started with apps, calamari , meatballs, chicken tenders sautéed with lemon herbs and garlic all fantastic! For main courses I had eggplant parmigiana my wife had chicken parmigiana, my buddy and his wife had steak tips and salmon! The portions very generous! The food absolutely delicious! To make long story short I can’t wait to go back and try a different entrée! The place was set up with plenty of room. Very clean and the staff very nice with Great service! Get over there you won’t be disappointed!

Great addition to Needham! Steak tips were flavorful and cooked nicely. Kids chicken fingers were devoured by my 2.5 year old. Excited to come back and try again when things they really get in the flow of typical service.Kid-friendliness: At early evening perfectly fine to bring kids.

My husband and I went opening night. As to be expected, they are still working out some kinks but the manager made sure to check in with us several times and got our feedback. Food was definitely worth the wait! Already planning our next trip!
