I love this place!! They typically have desserts on the counter and I tried their "lovely lemon square' last week and I am still thinking about it. The atmosphere here is so welcoming and their soups & sandwiches are fabulous!!!
Great home style food and though they were busy, we were served very fast. Friendly homey lunch crowd and whoever chooses the music - keep them coming because I loved every song on your playlist!

I enjoy a good clam chowder. And the chowder I had from destination soups was hands down the greatest I've ever had. I've had grandma's home made I've had top restaurants chowder but yesterday when I ate destination soups clam chowder I was eating in heaven and it's the best. buttery, thick and creamy, chunky and flavorful. top notch place to get something to eat. loved it

Great soup and sandwiches! The server was friendly and answered all of my questions about ingredients.The reason I gave Destination Soups 4 stars is because the manager is not so friendly to his staff. He was talking down to the server over a transaction she entered for $3.75 instead of $5.00. I was waiting for my food for just over 10 minutes and he was still complaining about the missing $1.25 transaction while I was leaving.I can't imagine that he staff stays with someone who treats them so poorly. If you go for delivery, the food is worth it!Parking: Located in downtown New Bedford, MA which only has paid parking meters for 25 cents for 15 minutes.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant doesn't have any stairs to enter through the front door.

Corn chowder is bomb ! The staff here is nice and welcoming. Prices are great and they have a give back program here.u can prepay for an item or meal for someone who can't afford it. Owner is deep rooted in the community and a great support for local youth orgs.Update : they knew I loved the corn chowder and when they made a batch today messaged me directly it was on today's menu! Picked up 5 quarts its delicious

For a hearty lunch sure to nourish the body and soul this stop is a 5 star destination. Anything about this place I didn't love was quickly offset by something else that I appreciated. Good pricing for an in town lunch destination.
I made the mistake of trying their soups and now I'm addicted. Absolutely the best chicken vegetable soup I've ever had and I'm so happy to have such a wonderful spot in my neighborhood. It's always buzzing with people at lunchtime and has a warm, homey vibe. Can't recommend highly enough!

Really enjoyed this little spot for lunch! Parked at a parking meter a couple blocks away. The workers were very nice. Lots of soups, salads, and sandwiches to choose from. Very fair prices! Split a salad, sandwich and soup and I loved them all! The curry peanut soup was very good and filling, ~$7.50 for a large. The large was very filling and came with bread. The salad was delicious and had lots of fresh ingredients. Loved the grilled cheese to dip in the soup as well. Overall a delicious lunch and I left very full!
If you love soup, this is the place to go. Always delicious.
