My partner and I came in for lunch about an hour after they opened. There was no hostess to seat us, and no one dining so we sat and waited for about 10 minutes. The cook came out from the back, looked at us and saw we were there, and said nothing as he whistled and walked back into the kitchen. After a few mins still no one came to take our order, so we left extremely disappointed. We have always loved their food despite the hefty price so we only go special occasions but due to the lack of hospitality and the outright rudeness we will not be returning. It’s truly a shame, i’m very disappointed.

Be mindful of your bill as the waitstaff add 20% gratuity to the bill without notifying you then they take the additional 20% gratuity you leave….. We noticed the following morning and immediately called the restaurant leaving the manager a message. After calling multiple times we finally got in touch and they said it’s common and that they can’t do anything about it…. If it’s a common issue then waitstaff should verbally notify customers when presenting the bill that they have added their tip.. problem solved! Rather than having sneaky waitstaff accept the addition 20% we left. Waitress made $250 tip. The waitress came to the table and took our signed bill while we were still sitting in the restaurant and never confirmed that we wanted to leave an extra generous tip. She knew what she was doing ….1. There should be a policy if wait staff are confident in adding a 20% tip they need the confidence to tell the table. Also add it to their menu to notify customers.2. They never gave us our order of herb fries .. bummer !

Unfortunately my only gripe is the financial one. $15 for 6 wings is unreasonable.Great place overall, but leaving with a $90+ tab for 2 people feels excessive.

Was really excited to try this spot out. Unfortunately after being seated, the service was extremely slow. It was hard to grab the waitresses attention, she wasn't very attentive. The menu had a lot of items that were not available. It should not take 50 minutes for the time from walking in to getting the food placed in front of us for a burger spot. I get it is a laid back type of atmosphere but that is unacceptable. Food was phenomenal, the herb fries were amazing. But you must ask yourself if it's worth the wait? Whoever is the cook in this place is working magic. I suggest coming by only if you have extra time to spare soak up the interesting array of artistic decor. Grab a craft beer and wait patiently as one of the most delicious burgers gets made for you.

TL:dr: slowwwwwww service, tasty burgers but cold by the time they got to us. Long version: we got there at like 5:15 on a sat. Nobody else was there - literally every table empty. We ordered 3 burgers, fries and water. The place packed out- waitress took orders from every person in the place. A couple people at the bar got food before us - some people even came, ate and left before we even got food. Clearly the burgers got forgotten, as did our drink orders. *sigh* When they did arrive, the burgers were tasty, but cold. Fries were excellent. Too bad- a couple little tweaks and this place could justify the $70 price tag for 3 burgers and two fry orders. Meh.

dNB has a simple but creative menu. It's refreshing to find a place that has a flavorful and diverse lineup of burgers.Small but well curated selection of bourbons and beer, and the cocktails are well crafted. The people here are cool, and the location is comfortable.

LARGE PARTIES BEWAREAs a huge proponent of supporting local business I hate to write this, but need to give a heads up to anyone considering coming to dNB with a large group. Although I’ve had great experiences at dNB’s prior location, I’ve come twice now to the new location with large groups and have had bad service both times. The first time, additional drinks were added to the bill and our party of 8 were rarely checked in on. The second time, our party of 6 were rarely checked in on (it wasn’t that busy and we chased down our server several times), we had to remind the server of our drinks (which came about an hour after waiting), our burgers were overcooked (usually they’re awesome, but our medium rares came out medium well), and we spent a total of 2.5 hours there, mostly waiting on our 1 drink and meal. The 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill (which I understand is standard for large parties), but without any apologies for the poor service, it felt a bit negligent and like they knew they already had the tip money in the bag. It’s also hard to justify the overall pricy cost of dining here when service has become this poor.Unfortunately don’t think we’ll be back.

We wanted to try something local and this place is great. We had the appetizer OG BRUSSELS and me and my husband devoured the bowl. He had a BYOH I had the deluxe and my son had the spicy burger and the three of us finished everything. The atmosphere is definitely a hipster vibe but without the judgement. The portions are good. There is a wait period but worth the wait.

The food is good food and different takes on burgers which is fun, just very very slow service and super pricey. I think a burger at the price point they sell should come with fries shouldn't be an up charge .

Avoid this place unless you have deep pockets $77.00 for 3 burgers 1 order of fries and 3 sodas. And that's before the tip. The food was definitely not worth it and I do not recommend! If your in the mood for a great burger for half the cost go try Back Door Burger its downtown by the waterfront trust you will not be disappointed.Parking: You would be lucky if you get a parking spot within 2 blocks I thought the place was packed but we were the only ppl there all the parking was taken up by the restaurant next-door Ming sushi

Their food was fantastic before hand I never really liked Brussel sprouts but there’s were great and I also tried the Mac attack burger and chicken tenders the Mac attack was great the cheese fit perfectly with the burger and the tenders were so good I didn’t want the sauce to take way from them if you are ever in the area I highly recommend

Amazing food, cozy vibes, and super friendly staff. Selective menu is actually the greatest benefit here because everything coming out of that kitchen is exceptional.
