My wife and I had a great meal. When the bill came I was surprised the check was so reasonable. I gladly paid but left my credit card by mistake and we live about an hour away. I called and they mailed my credit card back to me. Now that is great service! When anyone is in New Bedford you will be doing yourself a disservice not eating at Freestone. Thank you again for your kindness.

The chicken and waffles was a disappointment. Apple coleslaw was NOT fresh. The chicken was soooooo over cooked and actually looked burnt. I was NOT able to eat the chicken. On the other hand the calamari was a winner.

Our server was efficient and friendly. The food was very good. We started off with the Syrian nachos. Cooked perfectly. I had the Filet O Fish sandwich. Tasted great though a hard to hold onto. My friend had the steak tips, medium with mash potatoes and spinach. Cooked to her liking!

This place has an awesome selection of food and beverages! The make-your-own margs is an awesome idea and the calamari is amazing. My service unfortunately, was terrible. We made a reservation at 7:15 and were not even spoken to for 25 minutes. Not even a quick “oh im busy i need a few minutes but what drinks can I get started for you?” literally nothing. It didn’t seem overwhelmingly busy but I understand when wait staff is busy, maybe just let your table know and don’t ignore them for 25 minutes. Also the manager was walking around and never seemed to notice us…. Our waitress came over to a table next to us several times. After about 30 minutes we told the host we were not sure if we had a server. She went up to our waitress, asked her to greet us and the waitress did not come over for another 5 minutes. Honestly, I have waited tables for a few years, I would never make someone wait an extra 5 minutes after ignoring them. Then she comes over and asks if we wanted to put all of our food and drink in at once…… The unawareness was ridiculous. I would love to come back but the service was almost unbearable. Hopefully a better wait staff is in the works!

My husband and I went to Freestones for dinner and once again had an outstanding meal! They have a great food and drink standard menu, but they have such tempting and creative specials each week that I usually order one of the specials and I have NEVER been disappointed! The prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are right on point, not too small or oversized at all. Their kitchen staff does an amazing job and their servers are always very friendly. The atmosphere is very upbeat, we really enjoy the live music, and they have made some nice upgrades with interior and exterior floral decorations. If you haven't been to Freestones, you should definitely give them a try. They do not disappoint!!

My friend and I popped in here for dinner on a Saturday night after attending an event. We sat in the perfect spot: the corner of the bar! Great service and yummy food. A nice Manhattan, too! I discovered the spot on a walk earlier and was captured by the building. There is an assortment of art inside, too.
