LOVED the blueberryport flavor!! It was very blueberry and very unique. It wasn't very busy when I went, even in the summer, maybe because it's a little further from the main street? I dont know, but I thought it was the best. I got the smallest size and even that was a very large portion.

Yum, yum, yum! I made the mistake of ordering the regular sized ice cream instead of the mini and wow... that thing was huge! The cup served as both my breakfast and lunch. No regrets because it was absolutely delicious. I went with the classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and that thing was loaded with chunks. Kept me on a sugar high all day long!The shop is located on a cute street in the downtown area of Newburyport, so I took my ice cream and ate it as I walked around. Good local vibes at the shop, but not a ton of seating there. The employees were very sweet and didn't mind when I asked for a sample! Great ice cream and you won't leave hungry!

Friendly place with good ice cream. Staff is friendly. The place is kept clean and neat. My concern is that the prices have gone too high. A medium bowl of ice cream was $5.50 just a couple years ago. It is now $7.00. Just isn't worth it. Go to the supermarket and get what you want! Be smahht!

I cannot say enough good things about Harbor Creamery and the owner, Merri-Lee. I worked here for about 4.5 years before and after college. I have worked in 5 other restaurants and none of them even come close to how pristine Harbor Creamery is. From first glance you can tell how clean it is but, as a longtime employee I know how clean the entire place REALLY is! The ice cream production process is organized to avoid cross contamination and all tools are thoroughly sanitized before, during and after the process. The aesthetic in the shop is also gorgeous... white trim, wooden floors, and granite countertops, colorful accessories. The attention to detail is not overlooked. Oh! and the ice cream is incredible. I have family and friends begging me STILL to pick up some ice cream for them. As I used to say to customers.... "we don't make anything bad so and flavor will be a good choice!" Most importantly, you want to feel good about where you shop, especially in a small town. I can confidently tell you that Merri-Lee is an honorable business owner, boss, and person. She loves to support people in need. For example her business donated to local schools, breast cancer research, and the people of Ukraine (just to name a few). I know this is lengthy but she deserves it!
