My recent visit to Olive's Coffee & Bakehouse in Newburyport, MA, was an absolute delight, and I'm excited to share my experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enchanted by the charming decor, which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that every detail has been thoughtfully curated to ensure a cozy and pleasant visit. One of the highlights of my visit was discovering their mint matcha latte - a refreshing and innovative twist on the classic matcha latte. It was perfectly balanced, offering a delightful combination of flavors that I hadn't experienced before. This drink alone is worth a visit! The staff at Olive's Coffee & Bakehouse deserves a special mention for their friendliness and excellent service. They were attentive, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work, which added to the overall positive ambiance of the cafe. The food was nothing short of fantastic. The pastries and breakfast options were plentiful and all looked tempting. I particularly enjoyed the chia seed pudding and the frittata, both of which were flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The chia seed pudding was the perfect blend of texture and taste, while the frittata was cooked to perfection, packed with ingredients that melded together wonderfully.Overall, Olive's Coffee & Bakehouse is a gem in Newburyport. It's the perfect spot for anyone looking for delicious food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by for a truly delightful experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Gluten Free Chocolate Chip cookies! That's the one thing my wife wants me to let you know. We were fortunate to stop here while traveling through. We got a few coffees, crescents (not GF) and cookies. After we drove away my wife started raving about how amazing the GF Chocolate Chip cookies were. She told me several times they were the best she ever had and wished that we had gotten more. I had a bite (even though I love gluten in my cookies) and I have to admit they were great. Thanks for a great treat! My wife's only regret is that we were traveling (11 hours away) and we won't be in the area again to get some more. If you stop by, be sure to eat a GF cookie for her!

Started coming here right when they opened - they make my favorite latte around. Has since moved away but we still make the trip at least once a month.

Was told to go here by a friend in town. It did not disappoint! I had a breakfast sandwich on a homemade english muffin and a mocha latte that was very flavorful. This is a great place to grab a quick breakfast bite.

Hands down best pumpkin muffin I've had in my life. WORLD famous good. Also the homemade syrups for their lattes knock it out of the park. Don't walk, RUN and get you some.

Locals support local industries! I have tried this twice now with this establishment. Each time, I've come away with the same conclusion. Bakery goods that on the surface look as if a food stylist has prepared each item with meticulous detail as if each one cries out, to quote Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, "I'm ready for my close up." Unfortunately, the visual sumptuousness isn't even close to the bland and tasteless subject. Sorry, but eating a croissant, you should taste the butter content and not have the sensation of eating cardboard. The ratio of portion to price in this establishment--only some of the most confident and cocky establishments in NYC would dare try to pull off what Olive promotes. A lifeless and anemic-looking mini-quiche of bacon and cheese with a height of roughly less than one inch and a circumference that would feel comfortable only in the smallest of hands - together, the cost was $10+. #really? They say 'the third time' is the charm.....unfortunately, after two visits, I believe I will call it a day.

My absolute favorite coffee shop! I've been going to Olive's since they opened and my favorite part is the consistency- there are many coffee shops that can be hit or miss, but not Olive's. My iced latte tastes the exact same every single time and I LOVE it. Not to mention they have some amazing bakery items. And the customer service is hard to compete with- Debra and the crew have become such a wonderful staple in the community and I appreciate them so much.

Olive's serves the best coffee in Newburyport and boasts as friendly and courteous a staff as anyone in the area. One of the few places that earns its line out the door. Thanks, everyone!
