Service was terrible. Sat at table for 30 mins with one pot of tea, no plates, and utensils. Asked for tea cup and said there were no clean cups. Dishes and utensils were just dropped off on table and wait staff left for us to set table ourselves. Dishes did not come out in a timely manner. Then to top the whole experience, when we were paying the bill, the waitress brought her iPad over and insisted on a 18% gratuity fee by selecting the 18% box on the iPad. I then selected custom as I wished to give a 15% tip instead and she changed my selection back to 18%. This is so unacceptable where a wait staff demands a certain gratuity but had the audacity to override a customer’s choice. So had I paid with cash would she had taken it out of my purse? Beware if you dine here!

Drove 45min to try Ding’s Kitchen and it didn’t disappoint. Ordered Peking duck, salt and pepper Dungeness crab, stir fried lobster with glutenous fried rice, salt and pepper calamari, and dim sum. Decided to order a couple more entrees to go for dinner tonight. That’s how good it is! Very authentic and flavorful. Will definitely be back!

Small authentic Cantonese restaurant with dim sum everyday! They also have a weekday lunch menu for only $13-14, which is a great deal. Their Peking Duck was very affordable - I paid about $28 for half and it came with Chinese crepes, scallions, cucumbers, and hoisin sauce. This would be much more expensive in other spots around Boston.

Food was good, we loved the Taiwanese fried rice with scallops and shrimps. The chow min was OK. We loved the beef satay too. Sesame chicken was good , not too sweet which we liked.
