Recent NY transplant , missing alot of food from home. Blackers is absolutely amazing, quality baked goods friendly service and a great selection. I live about an hour away, it’s worth the trip here once a month to satisfy my bakery needs. You guys rock!

love coming here for shabbat goodies. everyone is so kind and even learned my order after consistently coming every friday! they always make me feel so welcomed, and the food is delicious. i love how fresh everything is, and that you can see the kitchen working on new treats on the back. I especially love the sourdough, but get there early- they’re a big hit! prices are great, too, which is always a plus.Dietary restrictions: it is egg and dairy free!

This is an outstanding full-service, allergy-free bakery. No bagels, but excellent challahs in many different shapes and sizes. Everything here is fresh and many items are served warm. Muffins and rugelach are exceptionally good. Cakes are amazing! The open view into the back makes it fun to watch the care and professionalism with which their cakes are designed and customized. The counter staff is exceptionally courteous and welcoming. A woman out back -- reportedly one of the owners -- is a little less happy, but her daughter and retail colleagues are truly knowledgeable and nice. They know their products, and are really appreciative of their customers. I highly recommend this excellent bakery.

Do you know how freeing it feels as someone with a nut allergy to be able to walk up and choose anything in a bakery display case? Thank you so much for healing the little girl in me who always had to pack my own oreos for birthday parties in case I couldn't eat the cake.

Don't get me wrong, the food is good. But all the passive aggressive signs at the front of the shop, in the window and inside the store telling people how to wait in line, to not have more than 4 people in the store (there is plenty of space inside and covid restrictions are long gone), to get off their phones (is this really such a problem in THAT store?) make for an unwelcoming experience.
