The subs had fresh ingredients and daily made bread rolls, which is a significant improvement over Subway. I would say this and JJs are on the same tier, but I haven't explored all the options at Mike's yet. The service was sweet and very professional too! Will be going back soon :)

There was less than half the Turkey that is usually on my sub from here. After ordering the same sub at a different location I experienced the same issue. Looks like jersey mikes is hopping on the shrinkflation train. Won't be going there again until this changes

This is a bright, airy, clean, and new-looking Jersey Mike's that's part of a newish retail development along this busy road just off Route 128. The menu is the same as at other Jersey Mike's: about a half-dozen featured cold sandwiches, another half-dozen hot ones, and another half-dozen cheese steaks and chicken steaks. The numbering on each sandwich, however, suggests far more choices or combinations than displayed. I went for the regular Big Kahuna, as usual, and was reasonably satisfied: a full sub roll with plenty of cheesy steak in the middle - although the fillings didn't quite reach all the way to the ends of the roll. The advantage to this is that everything doesn't ooze out and overflow; the disadvantage is that you don't feel like you got a "full" sandwich. Still, the sandwich was perfectly in line with those I've had at other JM outlets. While I'd usually give 3 stars for a standard, predictable big-chain experience, service here was super friendly, sharp, prompt, and efficient... enough to bump a borderline 3 or 4 star rating up to 4 stars.

I have been to the Jersey Mike's on Needham Street in Newton, MA, and the one on Route 1 in Saugus, MA. I like both places.

Almost 40 years ago I owned a sub shop in the Catskills that made subs exactly like this. The secret is freshly cut meats and fresh vegetables. As such Jersey Mikes has been my go to for fresh subs and the quality at this location seems great. But, they have management issues. I went today (my first time at this, the location closest to my home) and got my sub and a soda. I noticed that the Pepsi dispenser had run out of syrup and told the cashier - he said he'd have someone take care of it. 10-15 minutes later after mentioning it to him and another employee they hadn't addressed it and just had a confused/apathetic look on their faces. Finally, out of disgust I walked out. The food is great but the staff needs better supervision and training. And no, they weren't overly busy.

We did take out for Jersey Mikes. I had a tuna sub which had lettuce and tomato. The delivery took about half an hour which I found reasonable giver the time of day. I thought the sub was just average. If I would order take-out again I would keep them in mind but taking my chances with another place.

Surprisingly good hot mushroom and cheese sub. Way better than Subway cuz JM uses a real grill, not a toaster oven.Vegetarian options: Mushroom and cheese sub

First time at a Jersey Mike's. Wasn't overly impressed. Had the Big Kahuna. It was tasty, pretty good quality, but I just can't get past the bread. I would much prefer a standard sub roll over the fluffy, soft roll they use. The staff was disjointed but not unfriendly, and the place was clean. Still, with so many local independent shops putting out better product for less money I don't understand the appeal of these chain stores. Stick with your local sub shop.

As usual, my sandwich was ready when I arrived at the store. I am always pleased with the quality of the sandwiches. I worry that the store is not particularly busy and hope that the business picks up. Selfishly I hope that this site survives.
