Two words. Seafood. Boil. This place is in Newton so it's a bit out of the city but well worth the trip, TRUST ME. Since it's a bit out, you aren't paying as high of a price as you would in the city. It's a cute spot with lots of pics inside. The staff is so friendly and you can tell they really just care. They're super accommodating to your needs and will continue bringing the napkins throughout this messy endeavor. Their lobster cheesy fries (yes you heard me right) were unreal. The fries were crispy and flavorful and everything is better with lobster and cheese. I had the Royal catch with a medium shaking spice level and it was epic. I probably could have gotten it spicier but now I know. You absolutely need to come check it out for all your seafood boil needs (but they also have other things)

A Hidden Gem/treasure if you will. A small edifice but family oriented, kind and friendly atmosphere. I went for the first time and was greeted by Alice who was absolutely Amazing from beginning to end. I went for the seafood boil with Alaskan crab, lobster tails in garlic butter sauce. I highly recommend this place to anyone worth the drive and money. The drinks to boot REALLY TASTY! I enjoyed while I was there Mango Mojitos! I recommend as well you definitely have an excellent dining experience!I will definitely Be BACK!! I went to Shaking crab for the very first time on Tuesday, it was my best friend birthday, and I can only say It was beyond my expectations, drinks and food Omg 100/10. We enjoyed our visit and definitely I'll be back soon.

The food was good, but I honestly could not get around the concept of food served in a plastic bag. In all my years eating at food dives -- including many crawfish and shrimp boils down south -- I have never been served in a plastic bag. Mentally could not overcome that. There are plenty of disposable options that are not plastic, including butcher paper to cover tables.

We placed a pickup order and the two staff that's working were deliberately ignoring customers at the door. I get that you're busy and apparently understaffed but man, my order has been ready and they just had to ask the customers at the door. There could be a better system.

The food and service started out great. A group of eight came in. Once they did, our service got slow, and our food was given to us cool in temperature, not hot. Being that this was an all you can eat timed meal, with restrictions the restaurant sets this wasn't right.
