I really like this Japanese restaurant! I was in a hurry today so I just ordered takeout. Eel and beef tongue Don is very delicious and authentic. This makes me miss the eel rice and beef tongue that I had in Kyoto and Shanghai many years ago. They were tender and juicy, absolutely fresh and delicious! Volcano Maki is also amazing. The prawn tempura is crispy, tender and delicious, mixed with the rice, tobiko and tuna wrapped around it, making it unforgettable. The environment in the store is also very elegant. Next time I will definitely invite my relatives and friends to the store to enjoy the delicious food.

Overall had a good meal with great service. I went on a Saturday for dinner with a party of six. It was a bit busy inside, but our server was extremely kind despite all of the tables. I ordered the chicken udon and the chicken tempura roll. The presentation of the udon was great. The noodles were soft and felt fresh. I would say the chicken seemed like chicken tempura, but was in the soup so the usually crunchy outside was instead soft. The corn and other vegetables were great. The chicken tempura roll was good. It had a lot of chicken and minimal avocado, which worked, however, I would have liked if the chicken was cut into smaller pieces. It often seemed like the chicken was in large blocks. The wasabi could have been a bit stronger as well. Overall, I had a positive experience and return for another meal!

Ordered takeout and enjoyed everything. We went with specialty rolls or ala carte sushi. The avocado wasn't super fresh but it was fine. The fish was fresh and the shrimp was meaty. I do not get sushi all that often and found it a little pricey. I would order from here again.

I miss this place. They closed down long ago for some reason and I have never found a non-expensive Sushi place to take their place. I miss you guys. I forget the owners name but he is such a great guy. He's not overly friendly but he always showed integrity and respect for his customers. I have had some meals here that I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you for so many years of great food, sushi man. You are missed.
Our go to place for sushi takeout in the lower falls area. Sushi Man never disappoints. We always get a makimono combo and a few special rolls, we also enjoy the fresh rolls as an appetizer. The fish is always fresh, and the pieces on top of our rolls are substantial. They have the best spicy tuna roll!I have eaten in once, service was attentive, the dining area is a little tight, I wouldn't go for a date.We have never had a mistake in our order. A great all around sushi takeout spot.

I work locally and my co-workers decided to order from Sushi Man. The sushi was wet and mushy and the rice was falling off. The tuna and salmon in the sushi was milky looking with no flavor at all. In addition, I ordered the beef teriyaki bowl and there was a ton of fat on the meat. I called and spoke to the manager who basically told me to call Grubhub if i had a problem. We are a big group here and will never go back. Your loss Sushi Man!

It's my favorite local place. The old place was closed for a few years and I was suffering. They relocated around the corner and opened reopened about a year ago and I was not aware of the fact. I discovered it by pure chance.
