It's not Great but I liked it quite a bit, I'm going to start going here more and their cookies were honestly amazing! Quiche was definitely a little subpar, but that's sort of to be expected at a hole in the wall bakery- her specialty is sweets not savory stuff. It's hard to remain profitable in this climate and I admire how she still had fresh croissants, cookies and cupcakes which not everyone has. She was nice but maybe seemed a bit frightened that anyone was in the store at all ha. I can't speak for being an employee but she's a lot more considerate and mindful than some of the chefs & bakers I've interacted with as a professional in food. Thank you, we will be coming again. Also, this place is not that expensive y'all are just spoiled by Starbucks and dunks with their economies of scale wrapped in plastic- this is a real store owned by a real person and all of those dollars are going to human beings not robots & investment firms. I liked it!Kid-friendliness: This store has a cloth checkers board & homey vibes with lots of visual stimulation for kids to stare off into space or play a giant table sized game of checkers.Wheelchair accessibility: It has a ramp but if I was in a wheelchair I certainly wouldn't want to attempt it by myself but what do I know.

I was craving a cinnamon roll for days and I came across Oven Essance. The cinnamon roll did not disappoint. The size of the roll was perfect and it was packed with flavor. We also tried their crumb cake and they was delicious also. Very cute place with tons of variety to choose from.

Oven Essence is the perfect spot for a pick-me-up. Seriously, they are becoming my emotional support bakery. Ina is so kind and friendly, and the desserts are to die for. The salted caramel banana bread cupcake is incredible. Also a big fan of the Boston cream, lemon cream, and autumn grace flavors.

My friend and I went in for a couple of items the other day. The woman working behind the counter was extremely nice, but I’m sorry that’s the only positive thing I can say. The decor and the way the place was set up looked like a disaster. The woman told us they’ve been there for 8 years, but based on the condition of the bakery, it looked like they moved in 8 weeks ago and never finished unpacking/cleaning. Most of the desserts honestly didn’t look that appetizing, but we bought a magic bar, peanut butter cookie and a slice of peanut butter cake to give them a chance.The first two desserts were okay, but the cake tasted like a salt bomb. For the hefty price tag, I would say these were not worth what we paid. Later, my friend called me and told me he was unbelievably ill, and I told him I didn’t feel well either and I don’t doubt the reason was what we ate from this bakery. Even if we didn’t get sick, I’ve honestly had much better and wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Not good. A very weird and unsettling atmosphere with a discomforting smell of must to go along with it. I came in there searching for macaroons, and left with the complete opposite. To start off, they were given to me completely cracked with filling showing out of the cracks. They tasted like weird chemicals and me and my family had to spit every single one from each set into a napkin. The taste was in my mouth for hours afterwards despite brushing. The flavors all tasted like they had just been frozen. I don’t know who thought of putting those things together but they did not work.I was simply expecting far better.

Great bakery! We got a variety of cupcakes (including gluten free options) and they were all delicious! They had a nice variety of cupcake flavors, as well as other baked goods. The person who helped us was very friendly, which made it an enjoyable experience. The cupcakes were a little pricey for the size, but it’s worth it to support a small, local business. I’d definitely come back!

Laura is amazing and very accommodating. We had ordered a variety of 100 cupcakes to celebrate Valentine's Day at work. They were a big hit. We had several flavors - lemon, Boston cream, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and coconut. Then a few days later I went back to purchase for my family. The cinnamon rolls just melt in your mouth. The atmosphere is quaint. A perfect place to sit with family or a friend to catch up. LOVE IT!

We had the best experience at Oven Essence Bakery today! Ina was so sweet and really spent our short time together getting to know us. The atmosphere and friendliness was top notch.Carly got the chocolate cheesecake turnover and it was amazing. It was so well made and unique, she loved it!I got the key lime mousse cake and it was so so so good! It was one of the best desserts i’ve ever had.We both got hot chocolates as well, and Ina prepared them in front of us and even offered choices of flavored creamer for us to add in.Overall this was a delicious and memorable experience, with the most friendly atmosphere I’ve ever seen. I would highly recommend this bakery for a quick treat or a beautifully curated cake for any event!
