“Almost always very good food. Very clean, friendly. Fish & Chips is excellent and good portion. Could give a few more fries with it - they are great - like a batter dipped type. Use tiny packets of tartar sauce so ask for more or get your own. Could put more meat on grinders and some pizzas are a bit light on toppings for the price too.Didn't care for their Taco pizza though, have had better version at Spencer Pizza house. Overall though, my pick for a pizza place.“

“This is a nice, big, open place. It's a great stop off the highway to grab something to eat & stretch. They have a lot of options with a couple different places for food & plenty of seats. They are a little pricey though so be prepared to pay a little more for the convenience of basically being the only place around.“

“Charlton house pizza is by far one of my favorite places to go. I've never had a bad meal. Our food always come out hot and taste even better . If you've never had their calzones, I suggest you try them.They're by far the best calzones ive had and im a wicked food critic and very picky. They have a great team always happy and pleasant to talk to . they always accommodate with any special request we may have . The new owner is killing it there ?.“

“Im over 60 so I've had many many pizzasThis pizza was the BEST I've ever had. Usually pizzas can have to much cheese or not enough. Same goes for the sauce. This pizza melted in my mouth.The blend of sauce and cheese and 2 toppings literally all blended together perfectly. The broccoli bites were also delicious. The staff was very kind as well. I most definitely will be getting everything from Village from now on.!“

“Really enjoyed dining at Center Tree. There have been a few different restaurants in that building over the years. The old Tavern used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Rutland as they regularly had live acoustic music as well.The Good...Center Tree has a pretty robust menu for drinks, apps, and main courses. Specials are also available regularly.I strongly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Dip. It comes with hot, fresh pita and is a decent size for 2/3 people.The mixed drinks were also very good. Not over-priced, and they don't skimp on the good stuff.Main courses we tried were the bourbon stake tips and stuffed haddock. Both were good sized portions that we couldn't finish.The pizza oven must be the same as the previous restaurant and although we didn't order it this time around, it was a popular choice and looked very good as well.Atmosphere was also very good. The restaurant was busy, but no crowded. Wait staff seemed both knowledgeable and kept up without issue.Not So Good...There's a 4% surcharge for using a credit card instead of cash. Not a huge deal, but when you're tacking that on top of tip it gets a little awkward. There is an ATM available, but it isn't a sponsored (bank) ATM so you're paying whatever fee they charge. Just know before you go.Parking can be a bit of a pain. The main lot fills up quick, and the backup lot is dirt, down the hill, set behind the building. It's a little tricky in snow or rain.Check your receipt carefully...I didn't until I got home and found I was charged $5/ea. for 2 sides that should have come with my meal. It effectively turned a $24 dish to $34 bucks...plus the 4% surcharge...plus the tip...you get the point.Overall I think it's a decent option, although there aren't many in the area to compare against.7.5/10Parking: It's a little challenging when they are busy.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. It's a shared property.“

“Ordered a 10 pie. BBQ chicken added bacon and extra cheese. The pie was alright. I don't think I got my extra cheese. The cost was high $18 and some change for a mediocre small pizza. I'm not sure if I will go back because of the high cost, unfortunately there is not much in this town for offerings of hot food.“

“Pretty good food...the prices they claim online are almost double once you get in the store but other then being way way more expensive then both there in town competitors it's a good place to grab a bite.....as long as you pick it up and don't get delivery...90% chance delivery will be screwed up one way or “

“Ordered a pizza and a salad for pick up. Order was right on time, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food of course was delicious. Pizza had a bunch of toppings and the chicken on the salad was warm and seasoned well. Will absolutely be on the top of my list for pizza and other bites. Definitely recommend!“

“We showed up late and the owner was getting ready to shut down for the night, we asked if we had time to have dinner, and he said of course. We ordered grinders and had drinks too, the prices were great in my opinion. The food was great, the atmosphere was good, and the place was clean and neat. The owner was a nice gentleman, and it was a very pleasant experience. Great job Rutland house of pizza, we'll definitely be coming again.Parking: There's a small parking lot on the side of the building, and there's free parking onto the streets around the building.“

They offer a nice & clean environment, that's open & welcoming; while providing you w/ great food, along w/ friendly& personable Management & staff. It's also extremely comforting, as a lifetime local, to know that the owners of John's Pizza are not only genuinely GREAT people, but ALSO actually give back to the community as well! (Which sadly cannot always be said nowadays for many businesses, but John's is 1,000% an exception to that!)“
