Several generations of clients have been praising Bluebonnet diner for it's great food, hearty service and warm atmosphere. This is by all means a classic diner with all the classic menu items. The locomotive theme is topped by an electric train that spans around one of the spaces and kept kids entertained. Not too many Vegetarian or vegan options other than the well known pancakes or 2-egg-any-style options. Restrooms and free parking are available. This place can get busy so you may need to wait before being seated.

Very average breakfast food including bland, tasteless home fries, which cost an extra $2.00. And $1.70 for an additional egg. Egg prices have gone down considerably so up charge a bit much. Omelette with cheese $14.00 (didn't order due to the high price). Noticed other items on the menu to be sky high as well. $7.00 for a cup of chowder??? Coffee not so great, either. We kept it to about $26.00 with tip for the few items pictured. Server was very nice but won't be returning. Too expensive for diner food.

Loved the ambience and the food. Good old diner feel. Fast prompt service. Only thing was slow to pick up the check. Fries were great! Not generic like alot of places.Kid-friendliness: Have a train running at times in the upper ceiling area. Grandson loved that

After a long time, I could find the same broasted chicken I had in my hometown, Qazvin, here. It's a cozy old place where you can feel the beautiful old-age atmosphere and enjoy delicious food.

Skip the trendy places. For a good solid breakfast, look no further. My over easy eggs were perfectly cooked. The home fries were made with fresh potatoes, not frozen. The buttered raisin toast was sweet, cinannamony deliciousness. I didn't think I could eat it all but I did. Friendly prompt service with a smile. Cosy. No frills. Toot the train horn on the way out!

Purely a gyp joint. I ordered from the menu French toast $4.99 but the tab charged me $7.99. When I protested, the sneery waitress told me "get the hell out of here and don't ever come back".
