We loved our experience eating lunch here! Prices were great and the food was delicious. Loved the free chutneys and the naan as well. Paneer Masala was my personal favorite dish.

Reasonable prices but food needs a lot of work. We had three vegetarian dishes at this place and almost all of them were not of restaurant quality. The daal makhani was more like home made moong daal and had too much turmeric. The paneer masala’s gravy was not fully cooked. Saag Chana was okay but the saag needs some work. Overall it’s more like eating home cooked food than eating at a restaurant! Service was helpful and quick.

Ok, so- I love Indian food. I've been to lots of places in India, north to south, having spent months there (my ex spouse is Indian). This was, undoubtedly, the worst Indian food I've ever had. Papadum doesn't come with dinner, so we ordered it, and they brought out only 2 pieces. The tamarind chutney was 100% watered down. I ordered a paneer dish, and the paneer was....& I'm still shook by this....shredded....... like mozzarella. The curry was bland and didn't have the richness and multidimensional flavor of well-made Indian food. & the prices didn't reflect the poor quality. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was kind of interesting - I felt like I was in a Wes Anderson movie. I'm bummed because Indian food is my favorite, but I have had good food at India House, so I'll stick to that.

Love coming here. When we visit Northampton we always make sure to enjoy a meal here. Absolutely delicious, flavorful meals. We always have the same server who is so nice and happy to see us. Really a relaxing and enjoyable place to spend some time enjoying wonderful food!

I loved the server. He was very kind and also very efficient. The food here is pretty good. I loved the spiciness (I always ask for extra spice). I came here with a friend and I found the prices to be pretty fair for the location as well as the cuisine. It's definitely more expensive than other Asian restaurants in the area but it's worth it to me.

Last night, we decided to try India Pavillion. Up to then, it was the only Indian restaurant in town we had not been to. We won't be going back. While the atmosphere was lovely and the server charming, the food was mediocre at best. The tandoori chicken we ordered was cooked properly and seasoned well, but the problem was that the chicken itself had clearly seen better days. It tasted old and smelled a bit funky. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he went back to talk to the chef and came back with a message that the chicken was cooked to order. That was never the question. The cooking wasn't the problem. The problem was what was cooked. This was no spring chicken. It was long past its prime. Not only that, the mulligatawny soup was bland. The veggie thali platter was boring. With India House and Bombay Royale in town, there is no need to return to the Palace. Its a shame. Its also a lesson learned. Yuck.

I've passed by so many times but decided to dine in the other night and was pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent. All servers are dressed very smartly and were very attentive. The food was also excellent. I will definitely be coming back oftenVegetarian options: There isn't a vegetarian section per se, but there were multiple vegetable based dishes.

How this place is not always hoppin I have no idea. Such good food. But they never take longer than 15-20 minutes to have our takeout orders ready. The service is beyond great… it’s endearing and authentic. There is something about the family who owns it that is just so warm. Plus you get free Tupperware anytime you get takeout. Highly recommend.

Open on Thanksgiving. Very nice service and atmosphere. Food was very good. They have Indian white wine which was a first for me. Prices are a little higher than the norm but it was a really nice dining experience.

The food here was excellent, I have not tried much Indian food. The atmosphere was great with lots of Indian historical and cultural paintings and decorations. They give you choices on spices and sauce incase its to spicy for you, like mild and moderate,

Food was cooked to order and to perfection. Friendly hosts and plenty of refills and rice. Portions were enough to take home. So friendly and smells delightful inside. Will be back again and

India Palace had the best experience on offer that I've had at a restaurant since the pandemic started - and one of the best from outside of it, as well. The waiter was attentive, polite, and patient; my partner hadn't had Indian food before, and he was able to suggest a range of dishes in a variety of heats for her. The food was superb; incredibly filling, rich, and full-flavored. The ambience at the location itself was spectacular, and had us wishing our family liked Indian food better so we could bring them there. The waiter is also the first waiter I've seen masked in a long time. I felt safe, which was incredible. We will definitely be going back, and recommend anyone on the fence give it a try as well.

The biriyani is good compared to all the other Indian restaurants in the area (including Bombay Royale, which gave me acid reflux and a bad aftertaste). The owners are very polite and cater to their customers, regardless if they are Indian or not, unlike, again, Bombay Royale. There was some younger guy working there though who took a huge tip without authorization (that brought the total order close to $100), but the owners themselves (the Punjabi uncle and his wife) are good people and I never had any problems with them.

The host was very warm and cheerful. He shared fried fritters to eat while we waited for our food. We ordered the medium spicy Malai kofta and 2 rotis which was perfect for 2 people. Overall the best Indian food I've eaten at an Indian restaurant.
